CHAPTER ONE

Somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean

No, it can’t be he says to himself, he didn’t hear it right. His boss just told him the news that his parents as been kill from a terrorist attack while vacationing in Malaysia. Angry he told his boss that he wants the mission, his boss told him first that he has to go back home for the funeral then he can join in with the team later. Oh, my god he was thinking of his sister she is going to be scare, frustrated and alone when she hears the news, he needs to talk her now. Using his laptop and the video camera were the method of communication between the two of them.
“Are you alright Sissy, don’t cry I’ll be home soon”. Sissy that was his nickname for his sister. “I’ll be fine when you get home Julian.” “I’m on the plane right now I keep talking to you until you fall asleep it’s nice to see your beautiful face.” They keep talking for hours then his sister fall asleep then he hears his grand-mother voice in her room. His grand-ma is approaching the screen “Hi, son it’s nice to know that you are on the way home, your sister miss you a lot.” “How is the condition of my parent’s bodies?” “They have been lucky wasn’t a lot of damage done from the bombing it’s just that the walls of the building collapse on them.” “I heard you two talking I didn’t want to disturb, I was just waiting for her to fall asleep and to turn off the screen. She didn’t sleep much these few days and now we got your parents bodies for the funeral, she didn’t get much rest. You know how your sister is; she wants things correctly perfect for them.” “By the times I’ll get home, it’ll be morning I think grand-ma you need your rest too, I’ll see you very soon.” His best friend came along with him for support, they are childhood friend since they were little boys and they are together in the Special Forces even that his best friend is five year older than him, he was like the big brother that he never had, and his name is Christian St John. His best friend left Julian to have his privacy to talk to his sister but he heard they conversation between them Christian could sense the pain in Cecilia voice.

Christian St John came from a wealthy family; his family blood line is royalty since one of his cousins is the king of England and the other cousin is king of the Netherlands. He is tall handsome with light brown hair, the perfect body with hazel eyes. He didn’t care too much about his family expect for his younger brother Tristan. His family was too judgmental about everything he was doing. They didn’t care much about what was happening around the world. His brother Tristan was in the Special Forces too but in a different team then he decided to stop working because of his parents demanded and they always blamed him for it. Christian and his brother were closed until last year incident, he had caught his brother sleeping with his fiancé, since then they didn’t speak much with each other. He was upset at the beginning but he got over it. During the difficult times in his private life Cecilia was always there for support then realized that he was in love with her instead and he proposed to her last month before he went on the mission with her brother. He had told her after the mission they will get marry and now this happen the death of her parents.

Lancaster, England

Arriving to the manor Julian was quiet all of the memories flashed back in an instant, he missed his parents already they were wonderful he was sad to know that they will never witness them to get marry or meet their grand children it was unfair for them to have die that way. Entering the grand hall he saw his sister running toward him, she was pale but when she realized that Christian was beside him she had a big smile. He was glad that his friend was here at least for sister. They have guest in the great room probably to pay respect to his parents he didn’t want to see anybody but he couldn’t avoid them, they were all here for his parents. After greeting everybody he needed some air he feels suffocate he didn’t pay much attention to anyone until he heard a familiar voice he turns around “Sophia is it you?” She steps a little more forward toward the patio light, he could see her now “You have grown taller the past few year.” “Julian your sister and your grand-ma are looking for you.” “I know it’s hard to loose your parents, you were there when mine died at least you saved me from the rebels in South America ten years ago.” “Thank you again.” “When did you get here?” “I have been here since Sissy called me about your parents, I’m leaving here now.” “I’m sorry she did mention it to me with everything is going on right now my mind is not here.” “Don’t be I understand, let go back in should we?” In the far end of the terrace Cecilia needed some fresh air her head was spinning she needed to calm down her nerves. Then she heard some foot steps she looked up there standing were Tristan. “Destiny, are you alright?” That was the nickname Tristan had given her since she was six year old. Tristan met her while out ridding in the woods of his properties, she was courageous riding a stallion at six year old by herself and in someone else property. When he asked her what she was doing there she said that she was looking for her brother it was then he knew that was his brother best friend sister. Cecilia never asked Tristan why he was calling her Destiny but she didn’t mind since everybody else called her Sissy as her nickname, it was unique to her. “I’m fine I needed some air your parents are here also your brother.” “I’m here to see you and give my respect to your parents before the funeral.” “Tristan you should at least speak to your brother before you leave, I’m sure he has forgive you for what you have done since he asked me last month to be his fiancé.” “I know that he did forgive me the day I found out that you were his fiancé I had done him a favor or he never consider you since you were in love with him.” “We should go back in my family probably wonder where I am.” “I’m not staying Destiny I see you next times.” Then he left, Tristan always showed up when she needed someone to talk or when she was in troubles since he came back home.
He is as handsome as his brother but his eyes are blues and his hair is darker. His reputation was known as a playboy and the most powerful business man in Europe. Tristan was in love with Cecilia the first time he had lay eyes on her the more she was growing to be a beautiful woman the more he loved her but he couldn’t tell her since she considered him as a friend and she had always reminded him that she was in love with his brother. The day Cecilia found out that he slept with his brother fiancée she called him to say thank you. He felt bad for what he had done to his brother but he didn’t like his brother fiancé anyway she was bad news all along for that he prove it by sleeping with her but he didn’t realize that his brother was going to fall in love with Cecilia since he never pay any attention to her before. He was wrong about that judgment and cost him Cecilia. He always asks himself will Cecilia fall in love with him someday but now he’ll never know.

The funeral went smoothly without any problems, their parents were buried at the family cemetery; the entire guest had left the manor and it seems so quite. Her brother Julian and Christian are about to leave on the mission to capture the terrorist that bombed the building that their parents died. She was afraid for them especially if any thing happen to them she won’t be able to handle it, she loves them so dearly and her brother is the only family that she has apart of her grand-mother. She didn’t have a chance to spend times privately with Christian since he got home with all the funeral arrangement and the guests it was hard but as soon as they come back from the mission there will be a wedding. “Don’t worry too much sis I’ll back in one piece and you know Christian will be looking after me as always and we’ll look after each other, we’ll be back as soon as possible.” “And you won’t be alone Sophia and grand-ma are here with you.” She kisses and hugs her brother to say good bye, she tries to hold back her tears to be strong for them since she couldn’t stop them to go. She knows that her brother needed to do it for their parents and Christian couldn’t let his best friend goes on his own especially when she requested him to look after her brother to be save. “Don’t worry sweetheart, we’ll get back home save, then me and you will start organizing our wedding.” Then Christian kisses her passionately, she wished that they could make love before he left, she always wanted to rush things between the two of them, but he always reminded her to be patient he wanted to make everything very special for her since it’ll be her first time making love. He always told her that she was very young need to learn more and he will teach her. Christian was thirty-two years old and she was only twenty. Julian was saying good bye to his grand-mother and Sophia. Julian never realized that Sophia has grown to be such a beautiful woman so caring and affectionate toward his family, he did realized that his family was a substitute for the one she has lost, she was leaving in Spain with her grand-parents until now. She has become his sister best friend when he brought her from South America to his home until he find out where were her living relative and she was a scared little girl now she is a nineteen years old young woman. She came to visit his sister during her school holidays or his sister went to visit her. His parents loved her very much; they consider her part of the family since she didn’t have parents and any siblings. He hardly saw her during his times back home from his missions because he was most of the times at Christian and when he got home was late at night his sister was the only one always waiting up for him to talk and say good night. “Sophia thank you for being here with Sissy she will need you when I’m gone.” “You know that I’m always here for your family when they need me, I love Sissy like a sister and she is my best friend.” “When I’ll get back home we’ll get to know each other more and catch up with life.” “I’ll look forward bye Julian.”

CHAPTER TWO

Kharkiv, Ukraine two weeks later

Julian and Christian got capture from the terrorist a few days ago, from an ambush, they were out numbers by them and the rest of the team didn’t get there on times by a few minutes. But they got rescued a day later, they suffered by getting tortures but at least they got some information where the leader was since they understand the language. Being in the Special Forces they got to learn several languages and it have helping them during the years. They needed to go to St Petersburg, Russia that where the next attack and the leader Kirmarnov will be. They did find out the connection between Kirmarnov and the South Asian attack in Malaysia that was a ruse to throw them off to a different group of terrorist. They needed to catch up with them before they get to St Petersburg and out smart them. Kirmarnov probably heard the news by now that his other team got killed and they are after him and his teams. They were outside of Tosno that is where the terrorist were hiding, they needed to move in and finish the work. They send a message to the main commend center that they need a helicopter to come to get them and their team on the day of the attack. Julian and Christian talked to their family a week ago but Christian doesn’t know that his brother volunteers to come in to get them with the other special team for back up. Tristan didn’t want his brother to know that he was going in because he well knows that his brother won’t let happen. Tristan always has a mind of his own nobody could tell him what to do since the day he decided to quick the Special Forces to please his parents but he didn’t regret it because it gave him a chance to know Cecilia. Tristan didn’t talk to Cecilia since that night at her manor but he got news about her from his parents when they went to visit her. He didn’t want to see Cecilia unhappy especially if anything happen to her brother and Christian. On the night he is about to leave Tristan told his parents about him going to help his brother they weren’t to please about it but they known better to not argue with their son.

Tosno, Russia

It was two in morning but it was still pitch dark. All of men were in places to move in for the attack, the helicopter will be there as soon as they give the green light. Julian target was Kimarnov he told himself he won’t be satisfied until he kills him. The men start shooting with silent raffles on the guards outside the houses there were booby traps everywhere around the perimeter. One of their men stepped on one and has alerted the rest of the terrorist inside the house. There were shots in every direction the other team was on the top of the hill waiting for signal for back up. Tristan and his team heard the sound of explosion and shots but no words of help from his brother team he started to worry and two helicopters were in stand by. Julian finally got a sight on Kirmarnov he started to kill a few men before he got to him he got shot on his legs and on his left arm. He started to aim and shoot Kirmarnov on the head but it was too late he pulled off on the bomb Christian ran toward Julian and try to get him out of the house but it was too late the blast went off they were ejected Christian was on the top of Julian both unconscious for a couples minutes until Julian opened his eyes and saw Tristan but he was holding his brother into his arms. “Christian open your eyes for me please don’t died on me now.” Julian was in and out of consciousness. Christian starts to open his eyes and said “Tristan what are you doing here.” “Don’t talk now brother just keep being awake for me.” “Where is Julian?” “He is being taking care of by a doctor now he’ll be fine but you are not.” Christian realized that he was in so much pain he couldn’t move any parts of his body. “Tristan promises me that you’ll keep an eye on Sissy for me and get to know her I’m sure that you’ll fall in love with her like I did.” “Don’t say stupid things right now you’ll be fine and you’ll marry her when you get home.” Their mission has been successful but they did lose a few men. Julian was in the other helicopter and Tristan was on the other one he didn’t want Julian to see the state of his brother conditions. Still holding him in his arms trying to keep him awake and alive so he was talking about their childhood and that he loves him and he has always look up to him because he was the only brother he had. Christian couldn’t speak much but he did make the effort to keep his eyes open while the doctor was looking after him then his last word to Tristan was “I love you brother thank you for being here send my love to our parents and tell Sissy I love her.” “No, no don’t die I won’t let happen.” Then Tristan realized that Christian had closed his eyes and his heart wasn’t beating when he leaned over on his chest. He started screaming tears in his eyes. With disbelieve, in shock still holding his brother he didn’t realized that they got to the British Army base in Switzerland until one of the soldier called him to get out of the helicopter then he came back on earth. He told the coroner to take very good care of his brother body until he’ll bring him back home for a proper funeral, how on hell he is going to tell his parents and especially Cecilia. He needed to check on Julian, he didn’t pay too much attention about him or to his injuries under the circumstances with his brother. The doctors told him that he had survived from his injuries, he needed to do another operation on his legs, they removed the bullets but there were some fragments of debris from the explosion. He went into the room Julian was awake staring at the window. When Julian turns around there were tears in his eyes then said “Tristan I’m sorry it should be me instead of your brother, why he had to follow me I didn’t want him too this times.” “Did you tell your parents yet?” “Yes I called them this morning they are devastated but I didn’t call your sister as yet.” “Don’t call her I’ll, I’m sure she heard the news by now from your parents.” “Even I can’t barely talk I do it myself she is probably worry about me also knowing her she is trying to reach me right now.” “I let you rest Julian I’ll come back tomorrow.” Julian and Tristan didn’t know each other much because they were in different units in the Special Forces and when Julian came to his house he was never there or he tried to avoid him because he was jealous of him for being his brother best friend when it should be him instead. Even when Christian asked him to join them he didn’t want any parts of it now when Tristan thinks back, he was selfish then.
The next morning Tristan went to visit Julian, he was gone from his room then he remember the doctor said he needed another surgery so he waited for a while then the cleaning crew came in. Startle and afraid that something worse happens to Julian he went to look for his doctor. Finally got a reach of Julian doctor “I though you knew Colonel St John, his family has request him to be sent home after his surgery immediately, I got a call from the Prime Minister personally for him to be discharge. He told me that his family will have a medical staff on hand at their house. I couldn’t argue with that order.” “Your soldier must be an important person to get that kind of treatment.” “Thanks doctor.” Tristan feels a little disappoint to not be able to speak to Julian, he wanted to know the bond between him and his brother shared. On that news Tristan decided to go home too he already sent his brother body home early this morning. The doctor told him about Julian physical conditions that he will need a lot of physical therapy and go to rehab, he’ll be in a wheel chair for a while until his legs get strong enough then he has to learn how to walk all over again. Tristan worries about Julian and his mental state and Cecilia emotional feelings. He wonders if Cecilia will reach out to him for support or she will be secluded and shut her friends away. He tried to call her this morning the butler told him that the family request to have some privacy and they left England but they’ll be back only for his brother funeral.

CHAPTER THREE

Monaco, France

Cecilia was so anxious her brother is finally arriving, she told her grand-mother it was for the best to leave England because of the memories, and it was too much for her right now. She has been worry sick about Julian, she needed to put a brave face for him she told herself that they could face those tragedies by being there for each other she was glad that her best friend Sophia is staying with her definitely. And Cecilia knew that Sophia will be good moral support and help with her brother since she was a one of the top doctor in the medical fields Sophia was a gifted child with one of the highest IQ, and she knew how Sophia feels about her brother. Her brother came in an ambulance; he was still unconscious from his surgery the doctor told her that he will wake by dinner. When Cecilia and Sophia tried to change Julian from his hospital clothes to his pajamas they were stunned to what they saw so many bruises and scars on his body and bandages where the bullets had been removed. They only saw his faces bruises up with some scratches but they never found his body has been like that. Both of them have tears in their eyes they were thankful that grand-mother wasn’t home yet from her charity work in town she’ll be horrify. Her grand-mother wanted to cancel and not show up to her charity but Cecilia insisted for her to go. Sophia did her duties as a doctor toward Julian, check his pulse, his heart beat, and changed his bandages and Cecilia never left her brother site. Julian woke up wondering where he was, it wasn’t his hospital room anymore then he turns to his left saw his sister and Sophia sleeping beside him “Sissy, Sissy.” “Julian you’re awake you’re at grand-ma house, you must be hungry and thirsty I’ll call for some food. You do have to eat even if I have to feed you like a baby.” Sophia woke up at the same time and started to check on him. “Sophia what are you doing?” “I’m your doctor and your nurses too, so don’t start giving me a hard time now behave like a good patient please.” Then she gave him a big smile. Cecilia heard the knock on the door her maid just brought up a tray with foods for them. She starts to feed Julian “I’m not hungry Sissy.” “You heard what said did you if it means I have to feed you.” “Ok, I’ll eat if both of you eat too, it seems like you two haven’t eat yet either. Both of you look exhausted for looking after me and didn’t get any rest since you heard the news about me and Christian.” So they started to eat then his grand-mother walk in “I’m thankful that you’re in one piece son now your sister can get some real sleep.” “I’m fine grand-ma Julian with us now I can have a little peace in my heart.” His grand-mother talked to him for a bit then retired to her room. “Sissy will you go to bed and get some rest please for me, take Sophia with you.” Then Sophia starts to say “Sissy will go to bed but I’m not, I’ll staying here with you did you forget that I’m your doctor and I’ll be sleeping on that sofa until your wounds are heals then I’ll be sleeping in my own room.” With a big smile Cecilia kissed her brother good night and went off to her room. He was alone with Sophia that was his chance to talk her. “Are you sure that you’ll be comfortable sleeping in that sofa.” “I’m quite fine with my sleeping arrangement, you should be going to sleep and get some strength.” “That’s what I’m been doing since I got injured I just want to talk a little unless you are tired I’ll understand.” “No, go ahead what you want to talk about.” “You are really staying with us definitely and what about your life in Spain you are going to give it up.” “How did you know that I’m staying?” “Sissy told me earlier when you went to get new bandages.” “Well yes I’m staying, my grand-parents don’t mind with my decisions as long as I’m happy and about my life that I had made here I don’t mind to give up for the people that I care and love.” “Thank you Sophia for being here with us and looking after me.” “It’s a pleasure to be with your family now you should sleep.”
It has been a few days now that Julian was back with his family, his wounds were healing slowly he was glad that his family never asked about how he got hurt and about Christian. He wasn’t ready to tell them in details for what happen on the day of the attack against the terrorist. But he needed to know how his sister his dealing with the death of Christian, he knows that his sister is trying to hide her emotions affront of him. His sister came to visit him when she has times away from her works she was in charges of all the company around the world since of her parent’s death because of his conditions she was working from home and have conferences with all the CEO through satellite video. He told himself doesn’t matter how long it’ll take him to be back on his feet, he needed to help his sister with the family business it was much for her to handle.
Sophia was doing her same routine checking on him and changed his bandages they talked for hours, and he was getting to know more about her. He wished that he wasn’t in bed rest; he wanted to shave and have a shower he felt dirty. He could ask Sophia if he can. Then Sophia walking the room with a caddy there was a big basin on the top of it and a big jug. “That is your lucky day I’m going to give you a sponge bath and a shave.” Julian started to smile “Are you sure you want to do it yourself I can ask my valet to do it for me or Sissy.” “Don’t be ridiculous it isn’t like I never saw a naked body before, let me shave you first.” Sophia heart beats so fast she needed to breath in and out before she comes close to Julian, she felt different than the other times that she has been taking care of him because she was getting to know him more personally and she always had that childhood crush on Julian since the day he had save her life. He was her hero. She was face to face shaving him; she could feel the heat of their breathing and she was seating so close to him that she could feel one of his hands on her laps, she didn’t say a word after she is done she was removing his clothes and she was speechless. He was beautiful to her no matter the scars on his body. Because of her thought she started blushing she was hoping that he haven’t notice. She has put a small towel on his private place to not make thing occurs. Heat flushed his skin and he felt an immediate stirring in his loins. Desire entirely unwanted, coursed through Julian as he watched her, that lush lower lip, the exotic gleam of those eyes. Sweat popped out on his forehead, he would just have to put those images out of his mind, he told himself, sternly commanding his body to desist. Sophia finished helping him into his pajamas. “Thank you Sophia I feel like a clean man now, in a few days we’ll be going back to England for Christian funeral, and I’m little worry about Sissy.” “Hopefully Sissy will be strong, she needs to be there to get some closure and we be there to comfort her Julian.”

CHAPTER FOUR

Lancaster, England

Tristan didn’t like funeral, he told himself that he has to go through with it for his family sake. He missed his brother dearly it won’t be the same it’s just memories now, he wish the past year they could remain close with each other that he should had made the effort to apologize to his brother for what he has done then they probably still have that close friendship between brothers but the fought of Christian marrying Cecilia hurt him so much that he had put the ideas behind him it was better for him to stay away until now since Cecilia alone. He didn’t get any news of Cecilia for sometimes now he wonders if she’ll show up to the funeral. He knew where she was; he tried to get reach of her but didn’t get any luck it seems like she wants to disappear. Everyone who knows the family show up but him and his parents were looking only for one family, then they finally saw Julian and his grand-mother, Sophia was pushing Julian in a wheel chair but no site of Cecilia. Tristan could see how much pain Julian was in just by looking at his expressions and the watery eyes after the ceremony he saw his parents talking to Lady Fairchild Julian and Cecilia grand-mother. Tristan was approaching Julian he wanted to talk to him. “Hi, Julian I’m thankful that you are here with your family, we really appreciated if you don’t mind that I asked where Cecilia is.” “She came with us but as soon as we got closer to here she was busting out with tears already and she didn’t have the courage to get out of the limo we tried to comfort her that is why we were late.” “Your parents asked about her too they’ll go say hello to her before we leave unless she decided to get out of that limo.” “So it means that you are not intending the reception.” “Well if Sissy doesn’t feel much better we probably drive her home to our parent’s manor first then I’ll be coming back for the reception and we can talk.” “If you don’t mind can I try to speak with her?” “It’s worth the try since she doesn’t know you personally.” Julian didn’t know that his sister has a friendship with Tristan since he thought that they never been acquainted or introduced to each other. But Tristan and Cecilia always met each other accidentally through their childhood and since Tristan was out of the Special Forces he made the effort to see Cecilia when he got the chances neither of them mention it to their brothers. “We’ll wait a little until your parents and my grand-mother are ready to go to your estate.” Tristan was approaching the limo and he was about to enter then Cecilia was coming out their eyes meet then she fell back inside on the limo seat and he followed her in. “Destiny are you alright please talk to me like you always do don’t cry dear. I’m here for you I have try to reach you so many times and you wouldn’t allow no one to talk to you especially me did I have done something wrong.” “Oh, Tristan why these had to happen I’m hurting so much I lost my parents, your brother and I almost lost you and my brother. Why didn’t you tell me that you were going there too?” Tristan replied “I didn’t want to worry you.” Cecilia said back to me “None of you guys did a good job I was scared, afraid and worry out of my mind because they told me all the bad news about everybody and nothing about you.” Tristan said “I’m sorry I won’t do it again I promise as long as you still talking to me.” Before Cecilia could respond to him the door open it was her brother and Sophia. “Are you ready to go Sissy?” “Yes, it was nice meeting you Tristan all my sympathy to your family good bye.” Tristan in shock didn’t know what she meant by those words he couldn’t think fast enough to what to say except “Good bye Cecilia.” Their friendship couldn’t end like this he won’t let it happen he told himself. On the way to the manor Julian asked his sister “Are you sure that you don’t want to stay a little longer Christian parents didn’t get a chance to say hello or talk to you and they would like to do that.” “I want to go back to France as soon as you are finish here there are a lot of painful memories here brother, I think you understand what I’m going through even that I don’t say much when I’m ready we’ll come back home and I know that you are not ready too.” Julian realized that his sister was right even him was in emotional turmoil he needed to recuperate and think of his family. “Julian one more thing pleases when you see Christian parents say that I’m sorry and don’t tell them where we are leaving I just want to move on with my life without them being in it.” “I can do that but don’t you think your grand-ma might tell them that we are staying with her in France.” “I just want to be left alone and mourn for the one that I love peacefully without people feeling sorry for me and ask all the times if I’m fine.” “My dear Sissy I feel the same as you I won’t take long.” “By the way Julian where is grand-ma.” “She went with Christian parents.” “Sophia makes sure that Julian doesn’t stay too long.” “Don’t worry I make sure of it.”
Within a week Sophia feelings towards Julian grew stronger from a crush to falling in love with him for her to know for sure she had to do the first move on everything concerning Julian, she will risk her heart just to be in his life she needs to heal his heart for all those pains. Does Julian have the same feelings toward her unless she tries or she will never know?
Julian had struggled to regain his mobility. Determined he would not spend the rest of his life in a chair or flat on his back in bed, he had spent long, torturous hours working to regain his strength. The simplest tasks had seemed insurmountable, and more than once he had considered giving up and accepting the fact that he was an invalid, as helpless as a newborn baby. But the will to survive and to regain his self-reliance had won out. He kept trying, kept fighting the odds. And despite the agonizing pain, he had learned to pull himself up and stand alone. But he wasn’t alone he had the help of sister and most all Sophia to give him confident, courage and strength to do it. But just for the funeral he needed a wheel chair because he’ll be too tired to be standing for long hours.
On the drive to St John estate Julian wondered why Sophia had been so quite all day maybe it was because the funeral reminded her of her parent’s death. “Sophia you have been so quite today are you feeling ill?” “I’m alright Julian I just feel a little nostalgia.” “Are you missing your family you can go visit them we are not that far from them in France unless you are regretting your decisions to stay with us, you did sacrifice your life style to be with our family.” She did enjoyed her life in Madrid living with her grand-parents, her career was exciting with new challenges everyday, and she missed going out to places. “No I have no regrets just a little bored and lonely, Sissy has no times right now she told me she’ll try to find times for us we used to be inseparable I understand she is very busy with the family affairs she told me that it’ll be soon over in the next week and we can go shopping and clean up all the boutiques shops in Paris and I just laughed to make her happy I didn’t want her to feel sorry or guilty for me.” “Sissy does love you she tells me all the times that you are the most wonderful best friend and you are like a sister to her.” “Julian, do you think of me like a sister too.” To answer her question he turned his head and look at her lifting her chin with one hand started kissing her. This kiss had no tender start, but instead betrayed his hunger and hers. Hard, demanding kisses enflamed her and Sophia could only cling to and savor the fiery-sweet taste of his mouth. Her lips felt swollen and soft against his, and she groaned as his tongue tasted each sensitive curve and pulse of hers. Her eyes fluttered open, astonished at her own desires. He growled in response as she arched her back to instinctively beg for more. He pulled her closer and shifted back to settle her more tightly. Then they were interrupted when the voice of the driver said “Sir, we are here.” The limo parked both of them were quiet then Sophia said “We better get out let me help you and we can talk later.”
Tristan came to greet them and took them to join his parents after having a little conversation with The St John and left Sophia with his grand-ma Julian asked Tristan if they could go talk privately. Both of them were in the library Tristan poured him a brandy then they looked at each other don’t know who should start first talking with a little hesitation Julian started “You know that your brother always wanted me to get to know you he fought we could become friend since we are the same age but he told me that you were too busy with your own life you two were close I always saw him to make times to call or visiting where ever you were, he made sure to stop by. When you joined the Special Forces he wanted you badly in the same team with us just to be sure that you were save.” “Yes, I know and I had told him that wasn’t necessary I could take care of myself that I wasn’t a child anymore. Don’t blame yourself Julian it wasn’t your fault his last word was that he was glad that you were save and he can died in peace knowing that you’ll be returning to Cecilia he loved your family.” “Thank you for telling me it must be getting late Sophia probably worry about me, we should get back to them.” In his mind Julian knew that he could or should had insisted it on Christian to stay put and not came along with him and he will be still alive and his sister could be happy.

CHAPTER FIVE

On the way home he didn’t have a chance to talk to Sophia because his grand-mother was with them. His sister wanted to go back to France immediately tonight. On the flight back Sophia was too busy talking to his sister it seems that they tried to catch up with their relationship so he didn’t disturb them he just sat there and listen to their conversation between them and they didn’t mention about the funeral.
In the past weeks Sophia didn’t mention or talk about what happened between them she acted like nothing had happen. So Julian didn’t press on the matter afraid that she will feel uncomfortable around him, he probably fought that she was scared since she probably heard about him being a playboy and dated a lot of woman from the courtesy of being his sister best friend she probably knows everything about him. He couldn’t forget about the kiss that their share between each other. He dreamed about her every single night, of those delicate hands caressing him, and that hair of rumpled velvet entwining his limps as she brought him to ecstasy wit her hot, silky mouth. So it no wonders that he couldn’t get any sleep every single night, aching for the dreams to evaporate as soon as his eyes shot open. Sophia was sweet innocent, he needed to be patient and do things slowly regarding her because she was much younger than him.
Sophia couldn’t sleep she has been restless lately since the day Julian kissed her just to answer her question, he didn’t consider her as a sister it was the answer that she was waiting for, but still his heart wasn’t heal yet just by looking into his eyes she could still see the pains. It was very late at night she needed something to keep her mind away from her feelings towards Julian she decided to go to the library to find books that might help her to fall asleep she didn’t want to take sleeping pills just because she has been having some difficult times sleeping, she told herself if she keeps going that way she might end up to have insomnia.
She put a robe over her night gown; she needed no candle to guide her as she found her way to the library. “Sophia what are you doing up so late.” She froze as she entered the doorway and saw Julian seating on the sofa. “I should ask you the same question, I couldn’t sleep so I decided to get a few book to help me to go to sleep.” Crossing his arms and shifting his: his eyes raked her up and down with evident appreciation, making Sophia recall that she was not dressed appropriate. When she was nursing Julian in his room she usually wear pajama, not sexy lingerie night gown. “I must say it never occurred to me you were the type to wear something so revealing, it’s a big change from pajama.” Nervously she tied up her robe “I…I should go. After all, I wasn’t to linger anyway. I’ll just take a few books and be on my way.” He got up from his chair he was close, but in a strange way, not close enough. “I was thinking of the kiss that we had, should we tried again to make sure that my feelings are just not friend or considering you as a sister.” She could have sworn that the space between them had diminished. His lips brushed her, before she could marvel the tender shock of it, his arms were around her, his hands splayed on her back, and first impressions fell away in a sweet blaze as his mouth claimed her completely. Her lips parted at the onslaught of white hot passion, and the discovery of his tongue and the sensations it elicited banished the world. His teeth grazed the pulsating flesh of her lower lip, and Sophia joints melted at the jolt of delicious pleasure. Without warning, he gently ended the kiss, his breath hurried as he slowly stepped back to hold her at her arm’s length. “Sophia.” “Yes” She held still, her own breathing ragged, struggling to focus on his face. A twinge of horror at her unbridled reaction to his kisses flooded her. “I should go back Julian good night.”
Finally, after many months of torture, he could walk with the aid of a cane. He had single mindedly focused on being totally independent. Toward that only one goal, he had expended every ounce of his will and energy. But once the goal had been attained, once he’d endured strenuous exercises and his broken body had mended and he was completely fit again, he had become more increasingly restless and miserable. Without the ever constant pain to battle, another more debilitating kind of pain engulfed him. It was his feelings towards Sophia he has fallen for her; she was kind, considerate, generous, and compassionate and full of life like the women in his family in all the women that he had dated Sophia was more intelligent than any one of them. Since he was independent now he could ask her to go on a date, take her to places that she would like to see. He would take the chance; he remembered Sophia saying that she’ll give up her life in Madrid for the people that she loved and cared it meant his family but does she loves him? The only way to know it was to take the first step.
Cecilia was glad to know that his brother was getting closer with Sophia he took her occasionally out for dinner when he wasn’t too busy with works since he was back on his feet he wanted to catch up with the family business; she warned him if he hurts Sophia she will never forgive him. She helped him to know more about Sophia but most of it he already knew by being with her in close proximity all those months.
Julian took Sophia to Greece for site scene but it was more he wanted her to himself with no distraction from work or his family. He had rented a luxury yacht to do the tour of the Greek island. Sophia did ask his sister to join them but Sissy was smart enough to find an excuse for her to not come along. Sophia was so beautiful like one of the Greek statue in the museum that they had been touring, she was the picture of perfection, she has a mix blood lines like himself too according to her family history, she has beautiful light auburn long hair cascading her shoulder, full delicious big lip with one beauty mark on the top left side of her lips, and those big stunning aqua blue eyes he could only admire her beauty. He couldn’t believe that she didn’t have a serious relationship in Madrid; his sister told him that she was very busy with her career she only went on some dates.
“Sophia how is your day so far; tell me where else that you want to see.” “Oh, Julian you did so much already today it’s the most beautiful day, I’m so happy to be here especially with you.” From those words Julian felt confident to do more special things to make it more memorable for her. They enjoyed a great dinner above the deck watching the moonlight shine through the water it was beautiful, Sophia never felt so happy to be with Julian. In her mind can she dares to make the first move to be intimate with him. She always has been a strong opinionated person around people and she wasn’t the shy type of a girl. She told herself tonight will be the night. Julian was happy for the very first time since the tragedies in his life with the death of his parents and his best friend. His heart was healing from all the pains that he had suffered from his days in the Special Forces and he fought all his demons to become at peace with himself.

CHAPTER SIX

Julian received a phone call the captain told him that was the call he was waiting for. He went to answer it. Sophia wondered who it might be calling so late. Sophia was standing on the deck railing she looked up in the sky. It was a clear night the stars were shinning Sophia was admiring them since she loved astrology she was trying to read the constellations. When Julian came back up he got a little box of jewelry in his hand, he walked towards Sophia without making a sound, and she was still looking at the stars. Julian sneaked up behind Sophia he opened the box then surprised her by putting a beautiful necklace around her neck. Sophia jumped a little she was scared by the action but she realized that was Julian she was relieved and surprised by it. She looked down her neck to see her gift. It was a white gold necklace with little diamonds in every inch in between with a gorgeous pendant. It was a design pendant of a white rose very specifically details with mother of pearl as the petals and in the center a diamond that she was admiring at the antique shop in one of the Greek island. She couldn’t believe that Julian noticed it and bought it for her. With emotions and joys she turned to look at him and started to kiss him. She kissed him passionately with desires. Sophia heart was beating so fast and her head was spinning from their moment of passion she didn’t care if she was going to be all naked. Julian broke their kisses then moved down her neck one of his hand slide down the string of her dress loose showing one of her breast then he moved his kisses to her breast playing with his tongue. His other hand was sliding up on her legs and went in between Julian reached her soft spot and was gently playing with it until she was all wet between his fingers. Sophia was making soft little moans and finally say Julian name out in the air. Julian couldn’t wait anymore he felt her ready by her wetness so he lifted her up in his arms and carried her to his cabin. He put her gently in his bed slowly took off her dress. He said “You’re beautiful.” Sophia with impatience pulled him closer and unbuttons his pant and pulled down in an instant. With a little shock and a smile on her face saw Julian was ready to make love to her. Even with all those scars Sophia thought Julian body was perfectly beautiful and muscular. She said “Please Julian I can’t wait anymore.” He replied to her “Me either.” He kissed her with desires with up and down her body and played with his fingers more to make her ready. Then slowly he entered inside her but he could feel a little breakage he suddenly stared at her. Sophia didn’t want him to stop so she tightens her arms around him to keep him inside her. She saw his looks and said quickly “I want you to make love to me Julian please don’t stop.” Even he wanted too but he couldn’t he wanted her so much by her words he continued moving inside her until he got his release and fall on top of her. He got off slowly from her and gave her a gentle kiss. He lay next to her and asked “Are you alright? Sorry if I did it so rough fully.” “I’m still astonished that you are still a virg…” Before he could finish his words she came up on top of him to kiss him then she started moving her body. And they made love again.

CHAPTER SEVEN

Back in England, Tristan felt miserable for months since the last times he saw Cecilia. He couldn’t understand what had happen between them for her to shut him out of her life. He didn’t hear any news from her and she never tried to get in touch with him. He was so confused and missed her terribly, he understood that she wanted to move on with her life didn’t have to exclude him out. It wasn’t fair he thought that they shared a special friendship. He told himself that he wasn’t going to give up on her. His grand- mother in France called him up a few days ago to come to visit her and that she has a stallion for him to tame. He decided to go to visit her after his business trip. It was his chance to locate Cecilia because his grand-mother estate was in the same town as where Cecilia relatives. Lady St John his grand-mother now know as Lady Belmond through her second marriage couldn’t make it to his brother funeral because she was having an operation to remove a cancer tumor and couldn’t postpone it; she came to see her family later after she recuperated and visit her grand-son grave. It has been many years that his grand-mother hasn’t visited England usually her grand-sons went to visit her instead because of a family feud between his father and her.
Cecilia was happy and in peace with her life now that all the tragedies were behind her. She had grieved for the death of her parents and Christian. She was healed from all the pains and she will always have them in her heart. She realized that the ways she left things with Tristan was kind of blunt without any explanations and without any consideration toward his feelings and his lost. She was selfish and unconsidered toward other people who worried and cared about her. After her realization she tried to contact Tristan, his butler told her that he went on a business trip and didn’t know when he’ll be back. It has been months that she didn’t talk to him. She probably won’t blame him if he didn’t want to do anything with her after the ways she treated him and she was a reminder of his brother since she was his fiancée and their friendship probably ruined by the associations.
Her neighbor property separated them by acres of lands from her grand-mother estate. She has been acquainted with Madame Belmond through an equestrian competition and a horse’s racing held a few months ago. Madame Belmond late second husband and she specialized on horses breeding and make them into winners; she was looking for a temporary equestrian rider since hers got injured in a fall. And since she remembered Cecilia competing in France few years ago she asked if she would like the job. At first Cecilia refused it because she didn’t think that she could manage the family business and go on competitions but since Julian was back working with her grand-mother and now Sophia decided to go into a business career, she could do it for temporary. Every morning she’ll go to her neighbor for training and go out riding, the last few days her mind was on a new stallion that arrived it was untamed and wild. Her mind was only on the stallion she wanted to ride him and tried to tame it. But the care taker didn’t want her to go near it and told her that Madame Belmond grand-son will come soon to tame and train the horse. But Cecilia didn’t care late at night she will come to the stable and spend times with the stallion and she even named it Phoenix. Eventually the stallion learned to trust her but the horse seems wild around stranger and won’t let any one comes near him. She took Phoenix out for a ride every morning at five in the morning because she knew that at seven a.m. the care taker came to feed the horse.
Tristan got to his grand-mother estate very late at night, he was thinking if the private detective that he had hired to found out where Cecilia was located, he told him on the phone that he had found her and could give him an address. He will call him right away as soon as his office opens.
Since he got a lousy night of sleep and it was early morning he decided it to go to see the stallion that his grand-mother told him all about. When he got to the stable, he went directly to the section where they put the new horses and looked for the stallion. He didn’t see any horses not even one untamed stallion. So he went to the over far end of the stable to see the care taker. The care knew that he got in last night but was surprise to see him at the stable so early. “Paul did my grand-mother bought any new horses and can you tell me where is the new stallion is.” “Well sir she didn’t purchase any new horse except the stallion and the horse should be at his cubical, I usually go to feed the horse at seven.” “You put the new stallion at the same area when we purchased new horses.” “Yes.” “Don’t be alarm yet Paul but the horse isn’t there maybe the gate was open, I will go out to look for it, when I’ll get back and I don’t have the horse with me then we’ll get a search party with more men then after we’ll call the police if the horse isn’t discover.”

Monaco, France

Tristan was out riding for a hour now looking for the stallion around the estate property since it was so much acres to cover he didn’t think he can searched for the horse by himself. When he was about to turn back to the stable from afar he saw a dark shadow but when the distance got a little closer it was a horse and someone for riding it. But it was going the opposite way probably to avoid him so he went riding after who ever the person was. He was galloping as fast as his horse could but the rider was ahead of him, when he caught up with the stranger he could only saw the person from behind.
Cecilia was afraid and scared who the hell his riding after her she saw from far away a stranger on the field and knew nobody was up riding at those hours early in morning especially in a private property, she didn’t dare to look back to see who it was, the only thing in her mind it was to go back to the stable safely and get help, she spurred her stallion off to a different path.
The density of the grove of trees didn’t invite or allow the haughty gallop she’d envisioned and disaster set within a few paces. Low branches formed a stubborn web of snares; barren twigs and branches tangled in Cecilia’s cap and wavy hairs and arrested her forward progress. The pain was startling but being stuck within a view of the stranger was scary. She reached to try to free herself, but only managed to make the stallion sidestep from her struggles.
“Whoa.” “Cecilia?” Tristan’s voice carried from the safety of the path. He was in shock, was he dreaming? “Let me help you.” “Tristan” Can’t be him her heart skipped a beat at the familiar voice. She heard him approach, the sound of his horse’s hooves muted by the soft ground. “Just remain still.” His voice was soothing, to keep the stallion from spooking at his encroachment. His approach was slow, as he navigated the low branches and wow his way around the worst of it to reach her. At last, he drew his horse alongside hers. His expression was concerned, but also reassuring. “Just stay as still as you can, Destiny, and I’ll have you free in no time.” She started to nod, but winced at the tug on her hair. “Oh, Tristan you always rescued me don’t you, I’m not dreaming, it is you.” He smiled. “I guess that I’m not dreaming either darling.” He reached over and gently began to assess the damage. Cecilia held her breath as he ever so slowly snapped some twigs and then eased her riding hat from her head. It caught on another sharp branch, but he carefully made the effort to save her fashionable accessory. “Was that the worst of it?” she asked cautiously, mesmerized by his gentleness. “Almost,” he reassured her. Removing his gloves, he leaned in again. This time, his eyes locked with hers and Cecilia almost dropped the reins of her mount. He was impossibly close, and suddenly she wanted nothing more than to experience a kiss from him maybe her mind was playing on her because of her loneliness.
“If you took the reins and I held him still, I’m sure I can manage the rest myself,” she offered. He shook his head. “Be patient sweetheart.” He began unpinning her hair with gentle hands, untangling long tresses from the rough twigs, making her gasp at the sensation of his fingers brushing over her bare face and neck and working through the silken strands. “Ouch,” she whispered, as one stubborn branch refused to relinquish its grip. He lowered his hand and stroked her cheek, his fingers trailing down her jaw to her neck. His touch was pure sin. “Stay still.” Only the snap of the wood and the cadence of their breathing echoed in the grove as Tristan freed her, teasing her with each restrained caress and stroke. “Tristan.” Words abandoned her as she saw the flash of desire in his eyes. In on fluid movement, he pulled her from her saddle onto his lap. She struggled against him in surprise, but he was much stronger than she. “You shouldn’t” His lips descended, following a sensual trail along one side of her face and down the column of her throat. The grove spun around as the world narrowed to hold only the two of them. With on of his hand entwined in her hair, he moved to take control. His lips abandoned the pulse at her throat and, at last, found her lips. This kiss had no tender start, but instead betrayed his hunger and hers. Hard, demanding kisses enflamed her and Amelia could only cling to him and savor the fiery sweet taste of his mouth. And she groaned as his tongue tasted each sensitive curve and pulse of hers. But she couldn’t seem to dredge up even the faintest bit of resistance to his touch. Her eyes fluttered open, astonished at her own desires. He growled in response as she arched her back to instinctively beg for more. He pulled her closer and shifted back to settle her more tightly between his legs. His hand moving against the buttons of her blouse. The touch of his bares fingers against the ripe curve of her breast sent a shiver of raw need through her. His mouth caught hers again, drinking in her gasps and sighs as her nipple hardened against his touch, the circular teasing of his fingers matched by his tongue and sweeping her into a spiral of ecstasy. Coherent thought eluded her, and Cecilia almost sobbed at the aching want that whipped through her. His hand left her back and traced the outline of her outer thigh through her riding skirt, and she trembled. She had no real idea where it was going but every nerve in her body seemed thrill at this exploration. She wriggled tighter against his hard thighs, setting off another cascade of tension and heat. He slid her skirt up slowly, his fingers finding the firm warm flesh of her thigh to tease the skin just beyond his touch. Slowly his hand moved upward, and Cecilia wondered if a person could die from wicked rapture alone.
Her face burned with embarrassment at the liberties she’d allowed him. When sudden movement from the horse, his embrace abruptly stops then she could catch her breath.
“Tristan, please stop I’m still in shock to see you and I’m confused as it is, what are you doing here?” Tristan slowly moved his hands away gently with confusions of what had transcended between them and answered her back “I should ask you the same question.” “My grand-mother properties are behind those woods, I’m out riding as you see.” “And the stallion that you are riding does it belongs to you.” “No but I can explain.” “Nothing surprises me with you, and I’m looking for a stallion that got loose or a horse thief and it ended up being you.” “Oh, dear I forgot about the time Madame Belmond care taker probably is frantic by now about the horse, but it doesn’t answer my questions about you being here.” “Well it seems that you know Madame Belmond, she is my grand-mother, it’s a long story I’ll explain later, there is something else more important to discuss. Like the ways you left things between us.” Cecilia didn’t know what to say to him, so many things are going through her mind all at once, she turns quiet then he said “I’m going to call the care taker to tell him that I’d found the stallion then that I’ll bring it back to the stable much later, I don’t want him to call a search party or the police. You and I need to have a talk and I know the perfect place to go, you own me at least an explanation unless you think that our friendship is over.” Cradling her protectively, he led her stallion back through the grove to the groomed path on which they’d been riding. “Usually Phoenix doesn’t trust stranger it seems that he likes you, I was planning to buy the stallion from your grand-ma eventually, ok I’ll follow you.”
The place that he took her it wasn’t far from where they were there was a cottage in the woods that border his grand-mother lands and hers. The cottage was picture perfect it was like a copy from a fairy tale movie, it was surrounded by wild flowers, the smell of jasmines, wild roses, honeysuckle and mimosas were exquisite then the little far down there was a creek and it could stay like that all year round because of the Mediterranean weather in the south of France. The place was isolate far away from all the modern life or technology. On the way to the cottage they were both quiet. She couldn’t take the silence then said “What a gorgeous place, must be in the family for century.” “Yes it has been, it dated since the eighteen century nana late husband great grand-parents back then were hopeless romantic, it was dedicate out of love to his beautiful wife. During the years it had been maintain adding new modern touches inside the cottage like plumbing and electricity.”

CHAPTER EIGHT

They tied up the horses then went inside the cottage. Cecilia felt nervous around Tristan maybe because of what had just happen earlier between them she couldn’t free her mind from it and made her confused. He only wanted an explanation from her but those kiss and touches from him, can he explain that to her? She never felt or been kiss like that before. Christian had kissed her but never like that, he was so properly well behaved toward her during their courtship and the time that they were engaged, he had always told her to be patient when she wanted to feel and learn about intimacy. The furnishing of the room were very antique since it was dated back to the eighteen century made it to be priceless all the woods furniture were made of mahogany, she felt that she went back in time. She decided to seat down on a sofa beside the fireplace, Tristan brought up some tea for the two of them.
“I’ve know you for a long time now and it’s the first time that you’ve been so quiet around me. I didn’t meant to act so improper earlier, it’s just that I’ve miss you terribly and I acted on my feelings for you without thinking before I give you an explanation please Destiny talk to me, say something.”
“Tristan I didn’t mean to be inconsiderate toward you I’m sorry, it was very hard on me to grief for my lost and being with you then will just remind me of your brother, I almost lost all of you in one single day I was scared and terrify I couldn’t bare to loose everyone that was dear to me in my life and be all alone please forgive me.” “You never will be all alone my Destiny; you’ve me if you let me be a part of your life you don’t know how much I care about you, our friendship is special to me and my feelings for you it’s so much more than friendship, please tell me that you didn’t feel anything between us earlier.” “I don’t know maybe it was loneliness responding toward you I’m still confuse myself.” “Tell me what’s in your heart Destiny.” “Please tell me why you had always called me Destiny since childhood when other called me by my real name or my nicknames.” “I called you Destiny since the first time I saw you riding in my property in England looking for your brother all by yourself at age of six on a stallion I knew then that you were the girl that will always be in my heart and my life you’ll be my destiny. When you grew older to be a beautiful young woman it was love at first sight and I always told myself that you’ll be mine some day but it didn’t happen since you were so much in love with my brother at least I got your friendship.” “Why you never told me you had so many chances when your brother got engaged to his ex.” “Because I knew that you’ll never be in love with me every times we were together the only person you talked about it was my brother.” “Oh Tristan I’m so sorry that I hurt you I didn’t know if I had maybe my feelings then might be different towards you.” “Can your feelings be different for me, can you love me as much as you had loved my brother. What is in your heart, the ways you responded to me earlier says other wise.” Cecilia didn’t want to tell him yet about her feelings and what is in her heart until she is really sure herself not because she needed some passion in her life, she wanted real love that will last forever. And she was inexperience on intimacy with a man she wondered if Tristan realized or not.
She knew Tristan all her life, he always had been her friend, always comforted her. Can her feelings for him be real? She was about to say something but Tristan has already capture her mouth, started to kiss her so deeply, so passionately that she couldn’t refuse and started to respond to him by kissing him. Her mouth parted at the onslaught, and her sighs whipped him on as he savored the soft sweetness of her lips and tongue, devouring and tasting, exploring each texture of until he lost track of where he ended and she began. He starved for them after hours away from her. Her mouth was a feast of pleasures so heady that when she tangled her tongue with his readily, hungrily, it drove him out of his mind. Feminine curves beckoned, and his hands moved of their own volition down her back to her tiny waist, then to the firm mound of her bottom, fingers splayed, he lifted her up against him, deliberately pressing his hardened length against her, relishing the friction of the clothes constrained them and all too aware of the luxurious heat between her legs. And when she broke the kiss, he gave an audible moan. She looked up at him, her eyes wide with a gaze who was open and honest, yet smoldering with feminine desire. “Show me what your love is Tristan,” she whispered. A simmering desire she had never fully know but Tristan skilled touch had inflamed her, and exposed to her a truth she had long suspected. A fire burned inside her; a passion which mere moments ago, had been consuming her. And Tristan was the cause. He closed his eyes “You…are a virgin?” “Not really.” His eyes snapped open, and his hands went to her shoulders, grasping them harshly as if he might shake the truth from her. “Well, I’m a virgin since your brother was so proper and old fashion, he wanted to wait until we were married to sleep with me he wanted to make it special for me since I was much younger than him and I didn’t want to disappoint him I didn’t force the matter.” For a moment, he hesitated then something inside him gave away. His fingers went to the tie of her shirt he pushed the fabric from her shoulders slithered further, slipping down to drape off her elbows, baring her breasts. Tristan eyes burned with desire as they drifted over her, and it was nothing but gratifying. And all she felt was that sweet, hot ribbon of desire, twisting through her body again, drawing her to him. “You’re beautiful beyond words Destiny,” he whispered with a quick instant started to remove his shirt and pant. She held out her arms. “Taste me, touch me again. Make me feel as I did in your arms earlier.” He clasped her face between hands which were broad and little rough, then kissed her again with his lips and his tongue, bearing her back into the softness of the sofa. He dragged his weight over her, pinning her beneath his body, gently nudging her legs apart. She let her hands roam over him; over his wide shoulders, down the strong length of his back and further still. In the madness and the heat he somehow drew off her clothes. In minutes, she burning; reaching out for him, and breathlessly pleading for something she knew only Tristan could give. Amelia sensed she was in the hands of a true master, and whatever the price, it would be worth it. He urged her legs wider with the strength of his thigh. His mouth was on her breast, suckling her little roughly. Her nipples drew into hard, aching peaks. As his hands roamed over her, he nipped and nibbled with his teeth, his breath come harsh rasps until she cried out, drowning in pleasure and something felt like pain, but was not. Instead, it was an exquisite torment.
Good God, I must have you,” he whispered, his mouth moving over her face not in delicate kisses but open and hot. Despite his obvious arousal, she could sense his hesitation. “Come to me, come inside me. Make me …make me feel.” She begged, drawing him to her. “I will hurt you,” he rasped. “I don’t know how much.” “I will hurt you,” he rasped. “I don’t know how much.” “Want it,” she pleaded. “Let me feel it, the pleasure and pain, I want it all. Can you understand?”
Again, he hesitated, his gaze roaming over her face as if to be sure. But already, the hard, weight of his erection brushed her flesh, grazing that hot, sweet spot he had tormented with his hand.
She cried out on a gasp. “Please. Yes. Oh, please.” Cecilia felt her body stretch unbearably. And then Tristan closed his eyes, and thrust. Her flesh tore the discomfort acute but quick. Cecilia cried out, and Tristan froze, his face a mask of agony.
She held him to her, her nails digging into the hard muscles of his buttocks. “Do not dare,” she warned. But to her undying frustration, he went perfectly still. “Easy, my love,” he crooned, his breath warm against the turn of her neck. “Let me go slowly.” She lifted her hips a fraction, and felt her flesh pull exquisitely against his hardness, making her shudder. “I cannot wait,” she begged.
His mouth found hers, and his kiss was long and sweet. “You will have to wait, love,” he teased. “You are quite firmly in my clutches.” Cecilia trashed almost feverishly. “Please, Tristan.”
This time the kiss was rough and demanding. “I know what you want,” he rasped when he drew his tongue from her mouth. For a long moment, he held perfectly still, his strong arms braced above her shoulders, his head thrown slightly back so that the hair fell away from his face, and the beads of perspiration slid down the sinews of his throat. When at last he began to move, it was with a slow, exquisite rhythm. His motions were skilled, his touch exquisite. He covered her mouth with his, and plunged inside his tongue, over and over. She felt her body sheen with perspiration, felt her hips strain and strain for something she craved yet could not quite comprehend.
Tristan understood. He shifted his strokes, higher and a little harder. “Yes, yes, my love,” he cooed. “Just let yourself come to me. Yes, like that. Oh god. You are perfection.”
Beneath him, she arched hard, lifting her hips to his. For long moments they moved together in a timeless, instinctive rhythm. Amelia ached for him, wanted to be joined to him, in every possible way, not just the physical but the metaphysical, too. He thrust once more into her body, jointing his soul to hers, and then he cried out and was lost with her in the splintering light. They made love several times until Cecilia drowsed for a time, Tristan’s arms were about her, rough and strong, his face buried in her hair. She was suddenly, fiercely, glad she had given herself to him. And when she shifted her weight, he rolled onto his side, drawing her firmly against him, her back to the wide, warm wall of his chest. Then he circled one arm about her waist, called her his love, and slipped into a deep, steady sleep. Cecilia could not be perfectly certain how long she drowsed in Tristan’s embrace.
