Chapter 1

Princess Isabella was trying to settle all her affairs before she was leaving to Japan. She’ll be staying at Princess Sakura palace. Her brother Prince Rafael was already there since Sakura’s baby was due in three weeks. Princess Isabella was five months pregnant. The news tabloids were already in frenzy with her personal life they were assuming that her pregnancy was from Cristiano. Labelling out that all the questions whenever she should be back with Cristiano or not or the baby will make any differences for their relationship to be remaining stronger. Princess Isabella and Fernando ignored all of it. Since her break-up with Cristiano Princess Isabella kept her private relationship with Fernando very discreet from the media and the public. Being royalty and a celebrity artist singer made it very difficult for her to have a normal private life. Princess Isabella and Prince Rafael got customized from her celebrity status since the days they came back home. Fernando understood also since he became one of the most famous tennis players for their country. Princess Isabella understood Princess Sakura of her choices. Princess Isabella knew that Princess Sakura had to adjust to her new life when the times will come for her marring her brother Rafael. Princess Sakura told her that she’ll return to her country after the birth of her child and whenever she was ready to go back home they’ll go back together. Princess Isabella wanted some relax times and privacy just temporary for awhile until her baby will arrived and be able to spend times with her own child before to show it to the world. Fernando planned to be present for the baby birth so he’ll be joining her a month early. Only a small entourage will be going with her to Japan. Of course Oliver Quinn, Maria her maid and her butler Lopez. She didn’t need a lot of security as long as Oliver Quinn was present he was qualify enough to protect her alone. Today it was her last day in her country she’ll be out from public eyes for a long and her new album won’t be release until next year she didn’t need to do any promotions talk shows interviews. She’ll see Fernando in three weeks since he’ll be there for joining them for Princess Sakura baby birth and the baptism with her grandfather. Princess Isabella already announced to the press that she’ll be taking a leave from her royal duties just temporary to concentrate on having her baby due to her stress level of her schedules.
It had been five months since her break-up with Cristiano. He was still calling her she talked to him as usual and normal with mentioning Fernando. Once in awhile they’ll have lunch or dinner together Cristiano was still trying to convince her that their relationships can be able to be safe as long as she’ll give it a chance. And he was asking about the baby all times Isabella found it difficult to tell him that wasn’t his child. She decided finally to tell him the true that it wasn’t his child and he kept asking who the father was if he wasn’t. She told him that he didn’t have the right to know who was the father was as long as it wasn’t his child. He didn’t believe her so she stopped talking or seeing for over a month now. Princess Isabella mentioned to Fernando he told her not to worry about it he’ll get over it when she’ll cut him off of her life completely. Isabella felt so bad for the ways things ended with Cristiano she did loved him and still had some feelings left in her heart. But she couldn’t be marry to him when she was in love with Fernando she thought she was in love with Cristiano it was just a fascination crush of her favourite soccer player. Cristiano treated her with a lot of affections and love something that she told herself that she wasn’t worth it since she couldn’t be honest with her feelings towards him.
At the palace Princess Isabella wanted to spend her last few hours with Fernando before leaving to the airfield. Oliver Quinn came to her by requesting to do a security check at the airfield before she’ll get there then he’ll be back to the palace to escort her. Princess Isabella told him wasn’t necessary for him to get back to the palace it was just going to waste more times she told him that she’ll meet him there on times for boarding. Princess Isabella knew Oliver of his protections she assured him that everything will be fine she even let Fernando talked to him. Oliver had concerns since he took over the job of being her head of security he had never been separate from Princess Isabella. He was afraid that something will go wrong during his absence. At the airfield Oliver had checked all the surrounding and the plane mechanical manifest for safety. Oliver wondered if Princess Isabella got hold up a little longer at the palace. He didn’t get a call from her usually at all times Princess Isabella gave him a call if she was slightly going to be late. It wasn’t the case he started to worry a little it was unusual for Princess Isabella to be running late she was always punctual for everything. Meanwhile at the palace Princess Isabella was ready to leave she said her good-bye to her grandfather and Fernando. Princess Isabella was on the road towards the airfield from her limo window she noticed that she had arrived to the airfield quicker than she fought. When the door of the limo opened it wasn’t her regular driver greeting her she started to get a little suspicious since she had the same driver for years. He asked her politely to get out Princess Isabella got out she didn’t want to be force of by him. As soon as she stepped out she saw a private plane then Cristiano standing right there then walking towards her. Her cell phone started ringing the stranger from the limo told her not to answer phone then to give him her purse to him. Princess Isabella was getting worried and confused especially seeing Cristiano everything didn’t made senses to her.
Oliver tried to reach her on her personal cell phone no answers then the royal limo phone still no answer then he called at Fernando. There wasn’t any answer from either one of them finally after so many tried he got Fernando. Oliver told him that she didn’t arrived asked Fernando if he could reach their limo driver or to find out where he was located to get any answer from him. Fernando acted on it right away on locating their driver through his cell phone GPS at the meantime Oliver was trying to locate Princess Isabella through her cell GPS also. At the other airfield Cristiano men were high qualify assassins they knew how to kill people without no regret or remorse. Everyone watched the news and became in shock with the news of Princess Isabella plane blew up in the air. With anger Fernando said aloud “No it couldn’t be the news his fabricated.” “I still feel in my heart that she’s still alive.” Oliver and Joseph were also upset their thoughts were the same as Fernando. During the times I was born in this world as a child growing up to adulthood I had always been asking myself at all times the words of if happen or if didn’t happen my life will be different. I was born in Asia in a small country name Laos. The day I was born I was left in the care of my grandparents with aunts and uncles. Fast forward at the age of five I was reunited with my parents that were living in Paris, France. They had sponsored me their child to come to be a family. My father had also sponsored my aunt and uncle they were my mother siblings. Even at that age I asked myself if I didn’t came to meet my parent’s will I ever know who they were. I thought my aunt was my mother instead since she was looking after me at the concentration camp in Thailand. My most memories of the day that I had met my parents were the scary ones. I was clinging at one of my aunt legs and wouldn’t let go. Even when she I had said “there is your parents go meet your mommy and papa.” I was still hanging on to her. I was having difficult times adjusting to my new environment. My parents were strangers hardly show affections or love. I was thankful that my aunt was living with us she was the only person that was there for me. She always comforted me when I was crying from the beating of my father. If my aunt was my mother she wouldn’t allow my father to beat me with a belt or be mean to me. If that woman was my mother why she was there to defend me from my father instead she let it happen. If that was my mother she didn’t show the nurturing of motherly love to me. The worst things happen in my life it was the day my aunt left us and moved across the ocean to a country called America. I was nine years old I had cried the entire day if I wouldn’t my dad said he’ll beat me. If I was my aunt child would I’ll be the happy kid in the world. I wouldn’t know the answers to my question. For the replacement of my aunt leaving my parents had asked grandma to come to be our babysitter to me and my brother that was just born. My grandma always spoiled me when she could without my parents knowing. I was the helper to my grandmother when my last brother was born I was eleven years old. I had learned to be a babysitter and became an expert at it. My second terrify experience was the day my second brother got second degree burns on him. I got blame and yield at for not looking after my brother good enough. He had slipped away from my care while I was holding my baby brother in my harms. He had ran out from my room to the kitchen naughty as he was back then he got himself burn from the huge pot of soup that was on the top of the fridge when he tried to open the door. If I had played more attentions and care that wouldn’t happen but it did. If my parents weren’t stupid enough then they shouldn’t ripped off his clothes by doing that it peeled his skins they supposed to cut his clothes making it worst they put toothpaste on the burn skins thinking that will cool it off made it burn more instead. I cried none stop my brother was in so much pains and he was only two years old at the times. If he wasn’t wearing that diaper he would had died probably or his body will be disfigure. I had the supports and caring of my grand-ma during the tough times. Few years later grand-ma left us because of a dispute with my father it was the saddest of my life, she went back home. Things I couldn’t understand during those times if I was an older then I would have. There was so much drama and chaos during those years it made my parents angry at each others they started to fight at all times so many things I couldn’t understand. My father was a bad tempered, controlling man. My mother was a self center, selfish woman. They weren’t very good parents at the end never showed any love or affections towards their kids. At the age of fourteen I had saw my mother changing her personalities. She started to smoke, drinks and went out a lot more. She was also trying to get to know me suddenly by talking to me and involving herself with my school activities. But there was always a catch at the end. Since my grand-ma left I was looking after my two brothers I was a sister and a caregiver I felt that I. My mother was counting on me at all times to look after them and doing the house duties. She was the mother that came home from work had her dinner on the table; the rest of the household duties was taking care by me or my father. She wanted to become my friend all of sudden the reasons she wanted me to take her sides when she was fighting with father. Stupid of me I did take her sides. If I had understood then I would had be more understandable toward my father. My mother put all the blames on my father for her unhappiness. I couldn’t understand the night my parents got into a fight my father lost his temper then hit my mother. I hate to see my mother being bitten I called the cops on my father. Few years later I realised myself and found out all the reasons of my parents feuds. My mother was cheating on my father. If my father had told me the true in the beginning I wouldn’t hate him so much.
At age of fifteen my parents send me to America they told me I was just going there to study and I was going to live with my aunt my father sister. But they forgot to tell me that I was supposed to tell the airport custom that I was just going to visit family instead. I was detained at the airport for hours until my aunt asked for me. It was hard for me to adapt to a new language. When I met my father sides of the family it was difficult I couldn’t speak any English or Laotian. I understood Laotian spoken with a broke speech mix with French. My father mother spoke to me in Laotian constantly since she couldn’t speak English at the end I caught up and know how to speak as well as I can without the fancy words. I got to know my relatives from my father side they were some what dysfunctional families. Who could ever thought that my grandfather would be living the upstairs apartment with his second wife ands kids and having his first wife living downstairs with her children.

Prologue

Six years ago.

Prince Rafael of Palma de Mallorca was sent to Asia by his grand-father to be an
Ambassador for Spain and be incognito with a different identity. He’ll be returning home as soon as he had completed his royal duties with all major Asian country as an ambassador of Spain. And not until his grandfather thought he was ready to go back home with his sister that was living in the US anonymously. He was living several months in different countries in Asia one at the times depending of the durations of his duties. His two last countries in his list were New Zealand and Australia. He decided to be in Australia last since he got the date and news when he’ll return to Spain.
He flew a small aircraft that he bought to fly from cities to cities around Australia. The family in Australia had helped him during the times his plane crashed in the Ayers rocks areas close to Uluru city. The family was doing some excavations at the times. He couldn’t believe himself that he had survived a major catastrophic plane crash. Due to a miracle of faith and luck there was someone in the areas to safe his life. The couple that had nursed him back to life was in their mid-forty with a young girl around his sister age. They did have the access of communications and transportations to get some help for him but didn’t choose to use it instead they took care of him personally he realized they had medicals knowledge since his wounds on his body were well taking care for. They had used herbals medicines on them and gave himself prescribe meds for his pains. They had treated him at their camp site then took him to their ranch.
When he got strengths to speak he asked them how long that he had been in and out of consciousness they had told him two weeks. He contacted his personal aids by phone to tell them that he was fine before they were going to look for him. They always did if they didn’t hear from him. He had eased them from their worries and told them that he will keep in touch with them from now on. He didn’t told them his dilemma of him being seriously injured and he wanted it to keep quiet for the meantime until he was ready to leave the family that had took care of him.
Jonathan McKenzie, his wife Yuna and their daughter Sakura were the family that safe his life. He owned them his thanks and gratitude towards them. Their teenage daughter Sakura was like a professional nurse to him she was very experiences for fifteen years old girl probably learned it from her parents. He asked Jonathan “When I’ll be able to get out of bed?” He answered “Since Sakura told us that your wounds had been closed up, I’ll be removing your stitches now then we’ll try to do some rehabilitations to put you back on your feet.” Then he said “Thank you so much for saving my life.” He replied “Just called faith brought you on our path and thanks the dear lord god for keeping you alive.” Rafael asked “Since you’ve been taking care of me so well are you any chances doctors professionally?” He answered “Yes, I’m a surgical doctor but my wife isn’t a doctor.” “She does have some experiences due to her training in the medical school.” Rafael said “I hope that I didn’t disturb your personal life and be a burden to your family.” Then suddenly Jonathan wife Yuna walked in the room and said “Young man you’re not a burden or disrupting our life if you’re we probably send you to the hospital by now.” “Since you’re awake and talking what’s your name young man” He said “Sorry, I had forgot my manners my name is Rafael Palma.” Then the couple introduced themselves to him but he already knew their names from being in and out of consciousness he still could hear them talking from times to times. Yuna said “As soon as you’ll be on your feet you’ll be able to have dinner with us at the table but right now he’ll be still in your room.” They had wonderful conversations and got to know a little bit about each others. Rafael saw their gestures loving to one another and towards him helping him out walking around his room. He realized that they were handsome couple even at their age and their daughter was beautiful like his sister. He knew one day she’ll grow to be a gorgeous young woman. After he has done his exercises of the day he was exhausted Jonathan and Yuna let him rest and left his room. An hour later he heard a knock for the first time at the door and he said “Come in.” It was Sakura holding his dinner tray. She came towards him and said “I hope that I didn’t wake you my parents told me to bring you dinner.” He said “Thank you for dinner and thank you for nursing me.” She replied “I was glad to help out my parents and it’s my pleasures.” Rafael realized that she always smiled every time she was in the room. He said “You always have a beautiful smile on your face.” She replied “You’re a patient you need someone with a happy face to make your day brighter and you’ll feel less sad.” He said “You remind me of my little sister when you say that.”
It had been two weeks extra for him to do rehabilitations and now he was fit to go back to his normal life. It had been a month already and he needed it to go back to do his royal duties. Before he decided to go he wanted to spend one extra week with the family that generously took care of him and do things with them. He took them to Sydney to watch some theatres shows then he got some tickets for all of them to watch Sakura favourite boy band concert and did so many others thing together within a week. Jonathan and Yuna told him that he should spent his money on them since he hadn’t been working for such a long times. He told them that they shouldn’t worry so much and told them that his job pay him well by being a CEO of an export company. He felt like he was a part of a real family. Thinking that it will be wonderful to have a family like that with his sister but it wasn’t the case in their situations. Now it was the times to say his farewell and good byes to them.

Chapter 1

Present times

Prince Rafael of Palma de Mallorca arrived in Bangkok Thailand. He was staying at the Spanish Embassy for his political durations. He had told himself that he wanted it to finish his royal political affairs as soon as possible then go back home. He was hoping that he could fix the problems with their country trade exports. Being back to Thailand brought back some memories of the years he was travelling through Asia and be living some months in those Asian major cities like Bangkok, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Dubai until he was sent back home. He had missed his sister and grandfather terribly living there during those years but they were in different part of the continents. He had made a lot of friends and he was enjoying his life during those times because no ones knew who he was. Regular people didn’t recognize him not even the press in those countries but now everything was different since the whole world knew that he was a prince he wouldn’t able to be a regular person and mingle among the public in Asia anymore. The first month everything went smoothly in Bangkok he had settled all the issues with the trading export from that country now he’ll be moving on to Tokyo Japan.
Arriving to Tokyo the media was less subdue than in Bangkok, there was some paparazzi and news media as soon as he arrived. With the popularity of sister didn’t help him either she was a big mega stars in Japan her pictures was posted in some billboards around the city. They shouted his name and asked mostly about his sister and wanted to know when the date of her wedding was. He just ignored the news media altogether. He wanted to go visit a family that he actually met in Australia and now lived in Japan. He had kept in touch with them from times to times briefly during the years when he got a chance. He wondered why he had never asked Jonathan McKenzie the reason why he had moved his family to Japan. He never got the chances to go back to visit them again when he got the opportunity there were always others royal duties schedules for him. His grandfather travelled to those countries sometimes for royal functions to visit others royal families in Asia. He had sent Jonathan an e-mail that he’ll love to visit his family, he got a reply back said he was welcome to visit them. Jonathan told him that he will be waiting for him outside the airport. Rafael wondered if Jonathan awarded of who he was by now. Rafael arrived at Osaka early morning from Tokyo there wasn’t much crowd. The news media wasn’t present since no one knew that he’ll be in Osaka they probably had a watch on him at the Spanish embassy instead. As soon as he stepped out of the airport he saw an older Jonathan McKenzie standing affront of a limo. It seemed that Jonathan didn’t recognized until he got closer to him. Jonathan said “It has been a very long times my friend I’m glad to see you.” Rafael replied “Same here my dear friend you shouldn’t trouble yourself to come to pick me up this early I could have someone to drive me to your house.” He replied “That’s alright you are my friend.” As soon as the limo started moving the two of them caught up with their lives and Rafael asked “There is something I have to tell you and that I had never mentioned to you before.” Jonathan replied right away “You mean that you’re a prince it was on the news even before your plane had landed in Japan.” He asked “I hoped you’re not upset I can explain.” Jonathan said “You don’t have to explain trust me I do understand your situations. You’ll know why now we arrived to the palace.” Rafael with an intrigue looks on his face and said softly “Palace.” The driver of the limo opened the door for them and said “Sir, we arrived at the royal palace her majesty princess Yuna is waiting for you in the main room.” Jonathan could see Rafael stunning face expressions and said “I might be a well renowned doctor but my wife is the princess of Japan as well my daughter.” “That’s why I said I do understand I guess we have a lot to talk about during your times with us hopefully Sakura will be able to make it for dinner tonight.”
The butler took his small luggage and the two of them headed to the main room to see Yuna. Walking towards the main room Jonathan said “Our lives are very privates comparing to yours and my wife being born last in the royal family did help a lot.” “She isn’t much involved with royal functions or duties. It isn’t much requiring from her and we aren’t much in the public eyes.” Rafael said “I wish my life was simple as yours as you seen it’s different than the last times we were together that was the times I was just a regular person.” When they walked through the door Yuna came to give him a kiss and a hug then said “Oh! Mine it has been a long times Rafael you had become more handsome than the last times I saw you and more mature it shown on your face.” She looked towards her husband and said “Aren’t we getting very old sweetheart?” He replied “We sure are my love every times I see our daughter that always reminds me.” Then she turned to Rafael and said “So you are Prince Rafael the first time I saw your picture on TV was at your great grandfather birthday my father did attended the celebrations beside that you’re in all the gossip news well known as the most wanted bachelor prince.” He said “Sorry that I never told your family about myself since everything it’s out in the open I was myself surprised about you Princess Yuna.” She replied “Touché, our butler will show your room if you are tired you could rest a bit or you can refresh yourself and relax until lunch.” “If you are not tired and you’re hungry you can join us for breakfast in half hour.” Rafael said “Thank you for the offer I’ll go to my room to refresh myself I’ll be happy to join you for breakfast.” She said “Good we can spend more times together since you’re staying with us only for three days.” Jonathan asked his wife “Is Sakura up already? She was so delighted to have Rafael coming to visit us, I’m sure she didn’t leave that early to work without seeing him.” Yuna replied “I’m not sure she did came home very later I doubted that she is up yet.” Rafael asked “May I ask how is Sakura doing?” Yuna replied “Oh! She is the same Sakura with a lot of spirit and full of life it’s hard to keep up with her this days it seems she had become the jack of all trades still can’t figure what she wants to do as her career.” Then Jonathan continued by saying “Our only daughter is involve in so many things but to be honest she is very talent it on the things she does, we are very proud of her.” Yuna said “We can talk more at breakfast our butler will show you to your room.”

Chapter 2

Rafael left Jonathan and Yuna from the main room on the ways to his room he finally got a chance to look around his surrounding of the palace. It was beautiful design with the rich histories of Asian culture with a little touch of the European furniture’s of the eighteen century. It was well expect it mostly of royal palaces around the worlds and he had been visiting a lot of royal friends during his times. Their royal household was beautiful and it wasn’t as grandiose as his others royal friends. Knowing the personalities of his friends Princess Yuna probably didn’t wanted to be living in a grandiose palace from one of her parents many royal palaces.
Rafael followed the butler and arrived to his room and said “Thank you may I ask your name.” The butler answered “My name is Yoshiro at your service your highness.” “Do you require anything else your highness.” Rafael replied “No thank you Yoshiro.” Then the butler left his room. He started to open his luggage picked a new shirt then headed to the bathroom to refresh. He relaxed a bit then looked through his patio room window and he saw a beautiful Japanese landscape it was an indoor square garden that connected to each room of the palace. The garden was gorgeous with beautiful twins cherry tree in bloom then there was a small pond with a red bridge and one stone bench and a wooden one then there was a swing on one of the tree the picture perfect Japanese garden well design to fit a palace. He was about to go out to the garden then he heard a knock at the door. He said “Come in.” It was Yoshiro “Your highness I’m here to escort you to the breakfast room please follow me.” He replied “Thanks Yoshiro.” Walking towards the breakfast room he asked “If you don’t mind to ask am I allow going through the garden that I see from my bedroom patio door?” Yoshiro replied “Her majesty princess Yuna allows certain people to be able to access the garden and that’s the ones who own the rooms that have access to it.” “And your highness is in one of the room it means yes you’re permit it.” “The reason that the garden had been created is for the royal children to have a garden playground that will give them privacy and protection of the royal family but we do have a huge landscape garden outside the palace.” Rafael said “Yes I did see it.” Then Yoshiro opened the breakfast room door for him. Rafael worked in and joined Jonathan and Yuna but he was intrigue that Sakura wasn’t there. He remembered like it was yesterday. She was a beautiful young teenager that reminded him of his sister. When he was injured from the plane crash she took care of him so well changed his bandages, fed him and cleaned him up like a real nurse. She always had a smile every time in his presence and always tried to cheer him up. Now he was wondering how much she had changed. Rafael sat down and said “I hope that I didn’t keep you waiting I was admiring the garden from my bedroom.” Jonathan and Yuna said “No, we just got here ourselves. We went to check on Sakura.” Princess Yuna said “She’s a little tired from her return from Africa but as soon as mention your name she jumped out of her bed.” Rafael said “You shouldn’t have wake her up she must be exhausted.” Jonathan said “Don’t worry she has a lot of energy.” Rafael asked “May I ask why she was in Africa?” Jonathan said “She was with the doctors without borders. She just finished with them now we don’t know what her next career will be.” Rafael said “It seems that she wants to be like her father.” Princess Yuna said “At this point we don’t really know what her calling she involved in so many things.” Then Sakura walked in and said “My parents worry too much about me Rafael.” Rafael turned his head it was Sakura. He was amazed how much she had changed. She was taller; her figure was petite and beautifully womanly shape. She still had that sweet baby face she had turned out to be a gorgeous young woman like he expected her to be. Rafael got up then said “Hello, Sakura it has been a long time.” Sakura without hesitation started to hug him immediately then gave him a kiss on the chick. Sakura said “I have miss you Rafael I always ask my parents when we’ll able to visit you but they always tell me that you’re too busy prince Rafael.” He replied “Sorry for being too busy.” He sat back on his seat when Sakura sat down. Her parents said “Don’t be we understand.” Sakura started to eat her breakfast then said “I hope that you’re ready to spend the day with us Rafael what do you want to do today?” Her father said “Sweetheart today it’ll be just you and Rafael sorry about that I have an emergency operator the hospital flew a baby all the way from Austria.” Then her mother said “I just got a call from your grandparents they want me to join them in congress concerning some political issues.” Sakura replied “I do understand about dad but you mother since last year why you are so much involve in royal affairs.” Her mother answered “Well don’t you forget I’m still a princess and it’s my duty. Your grandparents are very old and my siblings need my help unless you want to take over my place I won’t mind.” Sakura said “I won’t mind to help you out mother but not until after Rafael visit.” “Oh! But if I do that everybody will know that I’m a princess I’ll think about it mother.” Her parents replied “There is no urgent matter for you to do your royal duties yet we’re sure Rafael knows all about that.” “Well we need to go now we’ll see you two at dinner.” Her parents kissed them good byes and left the room. Always with a smile Sakura looked at Rafael and said “Well you didn’t say what you want to do.” Rafael replied “Why don’t we just spend the day together you can show me around the beautiful palace grounds and we can catch up about life.” She replied “That’s a great idea. Let’s go for a walk then but first let me go put on some proper shoes for walking and you should do the same.” They got up from the breakfast table. Sakura came right away beside him and hold his one of his arm. She said “I should show you back to your room then I can go to my room through your patio door and through the family garden.” He said “That’s fine with me.”

Chapter 3

They both reached and went in his room. Sakura asked “I hope that you’re please with your room.” He replied “Yes, the room is beautiful and please don’t trouble yourself for me.” He went into his luggage and took out his athletic then sat down on the chair and put it on. Sakura asked “How do you like Japan so far?” He said “I do like Japan I had been here before and got the opportunity to do some travel around the country.” “Now that I’m done we should go to your room for you to change your shoes.” They stepped out to the family garden Rafael said “This is beautiful.” She nodded her head and said “I’m very fortunate to have it created from my ancestors I love this place dearly it had helped my family during the years through rough times to relax ourselves.” Rafael said “I can wait here for you if you don’t mind” She said “Sure I don’t mind.” It didn’t take her a long she got back to Rafael and saw him relaxing by closing his eyes on the bench. Since the first time she had met Rafael from his plane crash she had fell in love with him. She got to see his strength and weakness due his injuries. She got to know him personally by take care of him and by their conversations during the times that they had together. She knew that from him it was just a friendship due the circumstances they got to know each other and she was just a teenager that always reminded him of his sister. Sakura wondered since she had grown from the last times Rafael saw her if he’ll change his opinions about her but three days with him it wasn’t a lot of times to get to know each other. She came closer towards him then leaned down her head and whispered beside his left ear and said “Time to go Rafael.” He opened his eyes and turned his head slowly it was Sakura. She was so close to him, he could smell her soft perfume. His heart skipped a bit just staring at her. Sakura said “If you’re tired we can do our walk later.” Instantly he replied “No, no let’s go.” They left the garden not through his room but from a stone walkway that lead to the main palace grounds. Rafael asked “There isn’t much staffs in the palace I hardly saw any around so far.” Sakura said “We only require a small staff and we do have highly trained bodyguards around us, they just are very discrete to give our family our privacy.” “In your situations you probably have more than us you’re the most renowned prince Rafael with the well adored beautiful sister Isabella.” He replied “I guessed since we came back home and took back our places as a royal members of our country people is fascinate by us due to my sister being a major star around the world it isn’t easy on us lately.” She said “But at least she got to do what she loved without the world knowing that she was a princess and she worked very hard to get where she is right now. And later on for your country to accept her and still let her have her career that is a blessing but it’s must to be hard on her adding her royal duties she must be exhausted.” He said “But somehow she manages it very well.” “She decided that she will retire from soccer this year.” They passed through the bamboo forest to get to the small pond on the other side of the path. He said “I should have take my camera with me this is beautiful.” She said “Sorry Rafael you won’t be able to take some pictures of the landscape.” Looking at him she knew he was going to ask why so she said “This isn’t open to the public like the others historical moments in Japan it for privacy and security measure.” “But you can take pictures of yourself with the scenery.” He asked “You must have a lot of caretakers.” She said “We do they have been working for the royal family through generations for century and we still do a security background check.” He replied “Same with us.” They arrived to the pond and sat down on the grassland. It was a magnificent site everything was pictures perfect. He said “Your parents did tell me a lot about your achievements during the years why is the rush so much such a short times you’ve a lot of years ahead of you.” She replied “I just want to experience it before the whole world knows who I’m when I’ll be starting to do my royal duties it’ll be less times on my hands, you understand my situation.” He replied “I certainly do Sakura.” Then she leaned her head on his shoulder and took a deep breath. They both looked at the beautiful Koi fishes swimming in the pond. He started to hold her hands and both of them remain quiet for few minutes. And Sakura said “We should continue our walk I should call the staff to get our lunch ready on the gazebo.” She made her call with her cell phone. When they walked farther he saw on the top of a high hill a Japanese style gazebo. She said “Ready for a hike now or you want the easy way by golf kart from another path.” He said “The hike will be fine.” On the way up the rocks stairways he was admiring at the beautiful scenery it was a peaceful moment for him very tranquil. They reached to the top and sat down at the table. He saw wonderful foods on the table. There were sushi, exotic fruits, and a tea pot.

Chapter 4

He said “Your mother is very lucky that she had received this palace from her parents.” She said “Yes, my grandparents love my mother a lot since she’s the baby of the family she had her choice and her siblings love her dearly.” “But they have so many others estates or palaces that didn’t really matter to them anyway.” Rafael asked “Did you ever travel to Europe since you went to Africa?” She said “Just Paris and London for Unicef work.” He asked “Why did you never call me? Your parents have my number. I could have met you there.” She said “I just stayed in those two cities just for couple days, I did try but your schedule was booked or you couldn’t take the phone call.” She wanted to say that you were to busy being a playboy and didn’t want to answer his phone calls. He said “Why didn’t you left a message or a voice mail or a text on my phone?” “I’ll have dropped what I was doing to be able to see you it isn’t like we see each other all the times.” She replied “That’s alright you’re here with now and we have all the privacy without the media disturbing us.” He said “You’re right we’ll make the best of it.” After they lunch they headed back down and continued with their walks. Half way back to the palace her cell phone rang then there was a golf kart coming towards them. He looked at Sakura her face expressions had changed with a sad look then tears came down slowly on her face suddenly her phone came out from her hands. She was standing still like a statue then he could see her body shaking a bit. He came closer and started holding her in his arms she was still quiet and in shock then he asked “What’s happening Sakura?” Still speechless she busted into tears and kept saying softly “Why? Why?” He said “Talk to me Sakura.” Then instantly the two men stepped out from the golf kart said in English “Please your highnesses get into the kart we need to take the two of you back to the palace right away.” Suddenly Sakura fainted in his arms he carried her immediately in his arms then sat down in the kart with her still in his arms. He asked the two men “Can someone explain to me what’s happening the princess is in shock she couldn’t say anything to me.” One of the man said “Your highness something terrible happen to the princess family. Her parents had been killed with others of royal family members by a bomb attack at the congress building with others diplomats.” He said “I don’t understand her father wasn’t supposed to be there.” The man said “Her father decided to meet the princess after he had finished at the hospital.” Rafael couldn’t believe what it was happening either. The only thing he could think of it was Sakura poor little Sakura. They arrived at the palace Sakura was still unconscious. He wouldn’t let anyone caring her he put her down of the sofa and tried to wake her up. Sakura slowly opened her eyes and said “My family is dead Rafael.” She slowly got up and hugged Rafael. He said “Everything will be alright I’m here I’m not going anywhere.” One of the men came towards them and said “Princess Sakura we need you to stay in the palace until we hear more news from the prime minister, you should rest a bit your highness.” She replied “I’m fine Ashuna I want to be a part of it and involve on every aspect.” He said “Right now your highness the part from the phone call you had received that was the latest until we hear the next call.” Rafael said “I’m sure they’ll call you please let me take you back to your room you’re not alone I’ll be involve with it too.” Rafael talked to the man in charged and gave some instructions. The royal guards didn’t mind that Rafael was involved; they were actually relief knowing that he would be involved. They knew his background in the military. Rafael took Sakura to her room. She lay on her bed Rafael was right next to her. She started to put her head slowly on his chest and hug him tight. He didn’t mind and whispered to her “Just relax a bit sweetie just close your eyes.” He gave her a kiss on the top of her head. Rafael was hoping that she’ll fall asleep but she didn’t. The room was totally quiet for at least fifteen minutes then Sakura softly said “Rafael please don’t leave me in two days can you talk to your family to have someone to replace you for your duties in Asia.” He replied “I’ll stay as long as need me you were there when I needed most.” She looked up into his eyes and said “Thank you.” Still in his arms feeling comfort by him looking into his eyes face to face more closely she gave him a kiss. The kiss was tenderly soft then got deeper and deeper her head was spinning she was lost in her thoughts. Rafael didn’t refuse her kisses he knew she needed him for support and comfort and if a kiss will make it better how she was feeling right now. He wouldn’t stop it so he continued kissing her. Until both of them couldn’t breathes and stopped for some air. At the same times they said “I’m sorry!” Then they looked at each other Sakura was still in his arms she said “Thank you Rafael I hope you didn’t mind.” He replied “That’s alright love.” And gave her another kiss but shorter then said “Are you ready to go back to see Ashuna?” She said “Yes! I won’t be able to rest of take a nap anyway.” “Let’s go.” Holding each other hands they both walked towards the meeting room.

Chapter 5

They walked into the room everyone looked up. Sakura saw that the prime minister was in the room also with few head of the military. She went towards him with Rafael and they both started to greet their entourages. The prime minister said “We’re sorry about your lost your highness.” She said “Thank you. Did you be able to retrieve my parent’s bodies and the other members of my family?” “Can you be able to tell me who they are?” Still holding Rafael hands but a little tighter. The prime minister said “Yes, they’re on the ways to the main palace in Tokyo beside your parents among the death the others royal family members are your grandparents and their second son.” “The royal prince your uncle is waiting for their bodies to arrive and he would like for you to join him there.” She answered “Thank you I’ll call my uncle right now.” She let go of Rafael hands and said “I’ll be back.” She went to the telephone few feet away from where they were standing. Rafael said to the prime minister “I’ll be joining her to Tokyo and I would like to know more on the latest news on the attack and who had done it.” He looked towards the general according to his uniform. The general said “Well your highness we have shut down all the flights out of the country and the transportations systems for now until everything is clean up at the congress center.” “We have a lead on who had done the attack we had capture some member already.” Rafael said “That’s good work so far but did you find out the reason why and who they were targeting?” He answered “They’re Middle East terrorists they were mostly aiming at the European diplomats but since everyone was there didn’t make any differences they targeted it all the nations now.” Rafael replied “I’m sure there wasn’t only one group of terrorists from the Middle East to be able to do that kind of damage.” He replied “We are working with others law enforcements from others country.” Rafael asked “Any diplomats from my country got hurt?” He replied “No, your highness.” Sakura came back and said “We can leave right now to Tokyo.” They all left the room and went top the airfield where the helicopter was waiting. On the flight to Tokyo everyone was quiet. Sakura couldn’t believe herself it was a nightmare her world went down crashing in disbelieve she was relief that Rafael was with her she didn’t felt so alone at the moment.
Arriving at the main palace her uncle came to meet her at the helicopter landing. They gave each other a hug then went into the car with Rafael the others followed them in the other cars behind. Her uncle told her that the funeral arrangements were being prepared right now. It’ll be a state funeral with the country in mourning. It’ll be a massive viewing from the public to pay respect to their beloved royal family first starting from tomorrow for two days then the funeral will be after. And a lot of high presidential figures and other royal families will be present from every country. The security will be even greater and tighter. It was only tonight that she’ll be able to spent times with her parents and her family at the viewing to pay her own respect in private before sharing them with the whole public citizen and others. He had called his family and they understood he’ll be representing them since he was there already. Isabella will come to complete the rest of his duties. He told them about the family that had saved his life from the plane crash few years back by mentioning to his family about them being the royal family that got killed they were surprised by the news. Isabella told him that she didn’t mind to come for the funeral if he wanted to be present he told her he wouldn’t mind it might help Sakura a little to have her presence there by telling her that she was a big fan of hers. Isabella agreed to be there told him she only could stay for two days.
At the viewing she controlled her emotions with her others members of the royal family then she went to her parents sections waited until everyone left expect Rafael and the royal guards at the main entrance. She couldn’t control anymore her emotions then started to cry out with anger and busted into tears. Rafael started to hold her right away put his hands on her face trying to wiped out her tears but her tears wouldn’t stop dropping even that she had calm herself down. Rafael didn’t know how to make it better instantly he kissed her. Her eyes flashed in an instant her tears stopped and started to dry out. He knew how it felt to lose your parents he had been there it was horrible to lose someone that you loved so much in life. By tomorrow she’ll only have past midnight or very early in the morning to be able to see her family again at the viewing. The palace will open the door to the public at five am until midnight. And it will be more royal guards and the police forces present for security and to keep the crowds moving along smoothly. Rafael said “Sweetie we should go it’s four in the morning they’ll open the door in an hour and you’re exhausted.” Sakura realized he was right she didn’t have any strength in her body. She nodded her head then he took her to the private hidden corridor back into the main inside of the palace rooms and headed to her room from her directions. Arriving to her room he asked her how to get to his room she said “Please stay with me I need you.” He couldn’t say no to her even it wasn’t appropriate he didn’t care anymore about royal protocol or other things. She needed him and he’ll be there for her.

Chapter 6

She sat on the edge of her bed trying to remove her athletic shoes she was having some difficulty it seemed that her strength and energy ran out. Rafael could see it came and knee down to help to take out her shoes. He looked up at her pale face her eyes were red and tired from crying. He wished he could do something to see her beautiful smile again. The full of energy girl that he knew earlier he disappeared on him he missed her due to circumstance he understood. He said “Please sweetheart you need to find some strength to remove your clothes and go take a shower.” She said softly “Won’t you mind to give me some assistance.” He nodded his head and helped her to the bathroom. He helped her to remove her clothes until she was in her underwear then gave her toothbrush and started running the water from the shower then said “Just take a shower when you’re done just give me a shout I’ll be back with your nightgown.” Sakura said “Thank you.” Before he left the bathroom decided to brush his teeth at the washroom vanity sink few feet down from the bathroom also and went out towards her dresser. While getting her nightgown and her undergarments he re-pictured undressing Sakura he couldn’t believed how beautiful her body was her skin was so smoothly soft when his hands was touching her skin while removing her clothes her scent of her soft perfume was still surrounding him. He realized that she wasn’t his little Sakura anymore she was becoming his Sakura. He was falling for her he could feel his heart aching just looking at her sad face. He wanted it to see her happy again. Letting Sakura in the shower for a while he removed also his shoes and losing up his shirt to feel more comfortable. He will take a shower after Sakura. He was wondering if Sakura was alright she had been in there and he didn’t hear from her he was worried. He took her changing clothes with him and asked if he could come in there wasn’t an answer. With a worry look he went in he saw Sakura naked seating in the shower curled up into a ball crying. Without hesitation he went in right away with his clothes on and sat next to her he turned her body to face him. She looked up her face full of tears he took her into his laps holding her tight and kissed her passionately. Having her naked in his laps and kissing her until they both reached out for air and he moved down her neck. He couldn’t control himself or his emotions. She removed his shirt her hands were all over his torso then reaching down to his pants trying to unbutton it. Aware she was having difficulty he helped her out by taking his pants. Sakura didn’t care at this point she needed him she wanted him to make love to her it didn’t matter that her first time was in the shower. She wanted his comfort, his love at the moment even it was for the wrong reason. She didn’t even know if he had real true feelings for her or just done it to please her. She didn’t care at the moment her head was spinning wildly and her heart was speeding so fast she was feeling that she was in another world. They kissed each other all over his fingers were playing softly between her legs he could feel the warm of her softness and the moist fluid even through the water. She was whispering his name slowly with soft release of pleasure in the air he couldn’t restrain himself anymore his thing was hard and hot. Sakura could feel the heat of his shaft on her body and she knew he entered her then stopped into a halt she said “Don’t stop please continued.” She had tightened her legs around his waist and her arms pulled him tighter and started moving a bit. He did want to hurt her so he took her arms and pulled down from him by tighten his hands on her wrists and he continued moving slowly deeper into her then started moving into motions gently. She started to relax herself after the quick sharp pain that went through her body and moved along faster with Rafael. She kept crying his name he kept her quiet by kissing with so much anger until she couldn’t breathe that she had to push him away a little. He came to a sweet release himself and felt back into her. Water still dripping on them they looked at each other and he said “Are you alright my love?” Did she hear him right? He said my love. Or she was in a dream. She just nodded it he lifted her up on her fit turned off the water from the shower. He saw a little redness in the water and asked “Did I hurt you? I should have been gentler”. She said “No, I’m fine.” He reached for the bathroom robes and towels. They put it on their robes he helped out drying her hair with the towel. Sakura was trying to walk but her legs were weak Rafael noticed he carried her into his arms and took her to the bed. He laid her down gently and put the comforter over her she gave him a smile. Then he joined her under the covers she came to hug him and put her head on his chest. He gave a quick kiss and said “You need your rest sweetie.” She knew herself that she was exhausted but she wanted Rafael to still make love to her. She wanted to be love and make all her nightmare to disappear. Slowly with a tender touch she moved one of her hand along between his legs from just her touch he immediately got an erection. He said “Go to sleep sweetheart you had a long day.” She ignored him and she continued her hands actions on his hard erection. She said “Please make love to me again.” How can he refuse that request since his body still wanted her. She didn’t wait for his answer she moved her body away from him instantly and got on the top and put gently his hard erection into her soft opening. She started to move slowly on top of him. He gave out a soft moan of pleasure she started to move a little faster he looked at her with joy he could see she was tired. So he seated up and put a hold on her put her on her back then started to move insider her faster and faster until he reached ecstasy. He felt back on her after his release gave her tenderly kiss. He turned on his back to relax himself then turned towards Sakura she felt asleep within a minute. He gave her another kiss she gave him a slight little smile from her sleepy face. He looked at her with adoration he could see she was at in a peaceful place right with her beautiful smile. He found himself exhausted also then felt asleep after ten minutes just by admiring Sakura.

Chapter 7

He woke up before Sakura he looked at the nightstand clock it was already four in the afternoon. He couldn’t believe it was that late but he realized the both of them were exhausted for everything that happened. He reached for the telephone next to the bed and called to request for Yoshiro since he came with them. He was thankful that they spoke two languages and one of them was English or he wouldn’t to communicate with the staff. He was glad that he knew English and other languages. He asked Yoshiro if he could bring his luggage to princess Sakura seating room. Yoshiro replied that he had already left it there early this morning since he didn’t see Rafael for lunch he went to check on him. Rafael said thank you to Yoshiro for his help and understanding. He got out of the bed slowly trying not to disturb Sakura. He went to get his luggage next door in the seating room. He saw a food tray on the table with a jug of juice then he saw on the wooden chair one set of his clothes on the hanger that had been pressed for him. He guessed that was probably the good work of Yoshiro it reminded him of his own butler back home. He brought his clothes and the food tray t the bedroom. Sakura was still asleep. When he was about to get dress he heard Sakura being agitated and she was starting murmuring words she was having a nightmare. He came to her right away starting to hold her. He said “Love wake up stop crying love open your eyes.” Sakura opened her eyes she saw Rafael holding her. She said “Rafael I’m scare I’ve a dream that my family died.” He didn’t say anything; he held her tight then kissed her. Sakura came back to reality and realized that her dream was true. Tears dropped down on her chicks Rafael broke up their kisses and started to wipe out her tears. He said “Please don’t cry love you need to be brave.” She said “You’re right the funeral is in two days.” She looked at the clock and said “My goodness look at the time.” Her stomach was crawling and was making noise. Rafael heard that and said “It seems that you’re hungry.” She nodded. He said “We need to put some clothes on then we can eat our late lunch.” She got up of the bed and headed to the bathroom with Rafael. They got dress and ate their lunches at the small table in her room. He wanted to talk about happen between the two of them he was hesitating on the subject. Seeing Sakura with a smile on her face he didn’t want to ruin her happy moment. He let it go in his mind until Sakura will be ready to talk about their relationships or if there was one between the two of them. Everything was happing so fast with Sakura he was confused. He needed to take things slowly with her but he knew Sakura needed comfort but sleeping with each other wasn’t the answer for her grief. He was looking forward for Isabella coming for the funeral he could talk to her about his predicament with Sakura. She looked at him and said “You look lost Rafael is it something?” He replied “Nothing wrong everything fine. I’m just little worry about you.” She replied “Don’t be as long as I’m having you with me I won’t feel so alone.” He said “We should join your uncle and the other members of your family.” She replied “Yes we should do that, for the first time I’ll be on the news media with the whole world watching me.” Rafael said “I should stay behind and let you be with your relatives.” He could see her face reactions got sadder. She replied “I understand.” She got up from her chair and said “I should go now I guess I’ll see you later for dinner.” She left her room right away. Rafael just sat there without saying a word back to her.
Sakura couldn’t understand Rafael words. To her understanding it meant that he didn’t want to be a part of her life since he didn’t want to be present beside her and be in public with her. Why? Was he afraid that the news media will put in conclusion that he was involve with her? Didn’t he want it to be with her? Making love with each other didn’t mean anything to him? Didn’t he realize that she loved him? Sakura was upset and frustrate with Rafael. She knew that would happen but in her own selfish ways she wanted Rafael to herself. He just gave her what she wanted and requested it from him. She knew his history with women and all those magazines with photos of him with different women all the times in his arms. She was just another woman to him. Sakura was thinking if it was the ways he wanted it she will use him for her own needs also.
It was evening Rafael got a call from Sakura telling to have dinner without her and he didn’t have to wait up for her. Rafael watched her all day on TV today he understood that she wouldn’t be able to get away from her functions with her relatives. And tomorrow it’ll be probably the same thing with all the traditional ceremonies it’ll take the entire day. He could be with her if he wanted it but he chose not to do it. It saddens him to see Sakura so sad and alone on TV.

Chapter 8

Sakura was tired from today events. She had missed Rafael not being with her. She was happy to return to her room. She wondered if Rafael had decided to go back to his room or not if he did she’ll go to him. She decided that she’ll use him until he’ll return back to his country since he had no objections on what was going on between the two of them. When she entered her bedroom Rafael was asleep in the bed. She had a big smile on her face she undressed herself naked then jumped to bed. She woke up Rafael by kissing him. He opened his eyes and saw her beautiful face. He kissed her deeply with passion. Sakura realized that he was waiting for her he was naked under the covers. They made love the entire night. Sakura woke at three in the morning she wanted to go see her parents before the door open to the public. She tried not to wake up Rafael she put on her robe when she was about to leave the room Rafael woke up and said “I’m coming with you just let me put my robe on first.” He joined her and went to the viewing room from the private hidden corridor that was connecting to her bedroom. He held her hands and walked together to the viewing room. The royal guards let them through the room they went straight to her parent’s covings. He pulled her closer to him and held his arms around her waist. She just leaned her head on his shoulder. Standing there for an hour in silence he looked at Sakura and said “We should get back sweetie.” She nodded and they walked back to her room. On the ways back Rafael regretted that he hadn’t had the chance to spend times with his dear friends Jonathan and princess Yuna he owned them his life. He had too much respect for them to do anything to hurt their daughter. Confused about his feelings for Sakura his mind was going crazy and his head had so much confusions about Sakura herself. But his heart was telling him differently. Tomorrow finally his sister Isabella will be arriving he’ll able to talk to her about everything hopefully she’ll be able to help him to sort things out. He woke up Sakura was gone already it was one o’clock. He needed right away to get ready his sister will be arriving shortly. He ate a quick lunch then he left the palace. He needed to meet Isabella at the Spanish embassy. He wondered if Isabella could help him since she had her own problem in the love department he doubted it either. But at least he’ll have an opinion on his situation. He arrived at the embassy Isabella was already waiting for him as soon as he walked in the room. He gave his sister a hug and kisses then sat down beside her. He asked “You came alone Cristiano didn’t come with you.” She said “No, he couldn’t. We have so much to talk about but such a short time to do it.” He asked “Your wedding is still on.” She replied “Yes but I might just cancel it.” She said “I came here not to talk about me. Tell me about Sakura and I’m sorry about her lost we know how it feels.” He nodded and told Isabella all about Sakura and dilemma with his feelings towards her. Isabella said “The way I see it you’re falling in love with her it just are you willing to risk it all for her and take the chance to be in her life?” “Or you want her to be just another woman that you considered one of your conquests and you’ll forget her after a few months.” He said “I didn’t like the second part of your answer I can’t put her in that category.” She said “Then it means you’re in love with her.” “You have to tell her that you love her from your own lips not by your actions if you don’t you’ll loose her.” “And don’t wait until it’s too late.” He said “I need more times we both rush into things due to the circumstances we need to know each other more.” Isabella said “Well it’s your call brother.” “Are you going back to the palace?” He said “Yes, it’s too bad I won’t be able to introduce Sakura to you not until tomorrow.” She said “I know I saw her and the rest of the royal family on TV they are doing the ceremonies.” He said “Ok! We’re done with me. What do you mean you might cancel your wedding?” Isabella explained to him about Fernando and the whole mess with Eva. She told him she didn’t know what to do it was a big love triangle between Cristiano and Fernando. He looked at the time and said “We can have dinner together before I go back.” She replied “Good we can spend more times together I’ve missed you.” He replied “Same here.” They enjoyed a great dinner together ad talked about what was happening back home. She mentioned about how crazy it was arriving at the airport earlier so many fans waiting for her and told him about Oliver Quinn her new head chief of security. It was very late in the evening already he went back to the palace.
After another long day Sakura was looking forwards to see Rafael. She got back to her room Rafael wasn’t there now she remembered that his sister arrived today he probably stayed with her since it was already one in the morning. She went to bed feeling so empty not having Rafael with her. She closed her eyes trying to fall asleep but couldn’t. Her mind was running with questions about her and Rafael. She didn’t know herself how things were going to end with him. With all the emotions and personal feelings involving between the two of them she didn’t how to deal with it. Rafael was the only man she had fallen for since the age of fifteen and he was her first intimate sexual relationship. She truly loved him, she was in love with him but Rafael was still a mystery to her. She knew more about him from news magazines or those nasty paparazzi and also updates about him from her father when he called them. Rafael was still a stranger to her she was thinking that he probably felt the same ways about her. After the funeral she will go back home trying to make sense of everything with or without Rafael how to go on and continued with her regular life. Her life wasn’t regular any more it was upside down now.

Chapter 9

She still couldn’t sleep her eyes were close but her body wouldn’t go to sleep. Then she heard her bedroom door open she turned her head to look. It was Rafael he came back to her. To make sure she whispered softly and said “Is it you Rafael?” He came towards her sat beside on the bed and said “Yes, sorry that I wake you up.” He gave her a quick kiss she pulled him back before he got up and gave him deeper passionate kiss. She removed his shirt instantly by pulling it ripping all the buttons with it. She moved her kisses along his neck towards his chest her hands was working on his zipper to remove his pants. Rafael said softly beside her little earlobe “My sweet Sakura what are you doing to me?” “I can’t control myself when you’re touching me.” She continued with her actions. Rafael lifted up her silk lingerie gown and started grabbing with one hand her right breast and started playing with the erect nipple. With his mouth he kissed the left side breast then his tongue played with it. Both of their bodies was getting hotter he moved his head down further between legs. Sakura was in ecstasy with pleasure with soft moans then started to cry out his name. After he was done Sakura decided to take control over she went down then put her mouth at on his erection part and started it to play with then took it fully by moving her head up and down. Rafael was surprised but delighted by her actions. He got wonderful pleasure out of it he started moaning out loud and cried Sakura. Early morning Sakura got up and got ready for the funeral before Rafael she had to meet up with the rest of her relatives. She left the schedule on the table for Rafael to follow. The schedule menu for the funeral was for guest attendees. Rafael got ready also had said good bye to Sakura told her he’ll see her later with his sister at the temple where the funeral was held. Arriving at the temple with Isabella, Rafael noticed the crowd and all the news media outside the temple grounds. They went both inside saw all the political dignitaries and other royal family’s different countries. They knew most of them in the attendance. They said their hello to the one that were in their seating sections. Rafael did have a talk with the royal head of security the man in charge reassured him there was enough security nothing will happen even told him here every guards were. The funeral was over the guests gone to the reception at the palace. Rafael was looking for Sakura among the guests he finally saw her. He took Isabella with him to meet her. Sakura saw him walking towards her with his sister gave him a smile. She excused herself from the guests that were around her and walked half way to meet Rafael and Isabella. She didn’t want the other guests to be part of their conversations. Rafael said “Sweetheart I want you to meet my sister Isabella.” She said “Nice to finally meet you Rafael always mentioned about you.” Isabella said “That won’t be a surprise to me.” “I’m very glad to meet you I was hoping in a different circumstance.” Sakura replied “So do I hopefully we’ll meet again.” Isabella said “I’m sure we’ll.” Rafael asked Isabella “Could you extend you stay here one more day?” She replied “Maybe I’ll check if I can rearrange my schedule for you anything brother.” Sakura said “It’ll be wonderful if it’s possible.” Sakura uncle came and told her that she was needed. Her uncle was worried about her being involved with Rafael so quickly. He took her to the library room it was just the two of them. Sakura asked “What’s it uncle?” He said “Since the ceremonies and the funeral are over I would to talk about you now and what you would to do?” “I would like for you to live with me but that’s all except to you.” She said “I don’t know at this point what I’m going to do but I would to be living at my home for the meanwhile.” Her uncle said “That’s fine with me don’t forget I’m always here for you I’m just worry that you might rush into doing things.” “I have nothing against Prince Rafael because I don’t know him but your parents did. I still have my doubts about him concerning you his reputations with women doesn’t reassure me.” “I don’t want you to get hurt especially you’ve lost your family and you’re vulnerable at the moment.” Sakura replied “I’m truly grateful for your concern and caring.” “I’ll take my chances on that department and will learn from my mistake.” “I realized our age differences but that isn’t an issue.” Her uncle said “Well I guess I have anything more to say we should get back to our guests before they leave.” She replied “Yes and thank you fro your concern.” She hugged and kissed her uncle. They both joined back their guests she told her uncle that she was going to leave now. She went and said her farewell to their guests. She went to tell Yoshiro that they were going back home. Rafael saw her came back with her uncle and went to see her with Isabella. Sakura told him that she was going home he agreed to come with her. He asked his sister if she made rearrangement already to stay one more day she said yes. Isabella agreed to come with them to spend the night and tomorrow before she’ll leave Japan. Isabella couldn’t leave without telling her head chief of security and her entourage. Rafael knew the protocol so he went to talk to Oliver Quinn her chief of security told him he had to come along to be her bodyguards since the rest of the entourage was staying put in Tokyo.

Chapter 10

They took the helicopter and flew to Sakura home. Rafael wanted Isabella to know Sakura even it was a short that they’ll spend together it was satisfy for him. They all had great conversations in the helicopter. Rafael was glad to see Sakura having a smile on her face and for such a long times she was laughing due to his sister. It made her forget about those last sad days temporary. Rafael wished Isabella could have stayed a little longer seeing Sakura happy again. It got late when they arrived. They were all exhausted by today events. Yoshiro showed Oliver Quinn his bedroom. Sakura and Rafael showed Isabella to her bedroom suite then said their goodnight. It was a beautiful morning Sakura felt at peace somehow being back home. Rafael was still asleep beside her she got up decided it to get some fresh air and relaxed under her cherry blossom tree. Through her patio window she saw Isabella already there sitting on the swing. Sakura was happy that Isabella was up she wanted to spend times to get to know Rafael sister in person. She was about to step out of the room suddenly Rafael said “Come back to bed sweetie it’s still early.” She replied “Sweetheart if you want to stay in bed that fine but I’m up already and also your sister I’m going to join her outside she’s in the garden right now.” She went out to see Isabella. From the other side of the bedroom quarters Oliver Quinn got up at the same times he looked through the patio window and saw Princess Isabella and Princess Sakura talking with each other.
Oliver was amazed how the garden landscape was so beautiful it wasn’t just the garden he fought the two princesses added the beauty into it also. Oliver couldn’t believe himself that he was admiring princess Isabella. He realized that she was so different from all the high profile women he had protect during his times. Since her trip to Asia to replace her brother Oliver got to know her more personally since she wasn’t at the palace she didn’t have as much entourage and he was with her twenty four seven. He was surprised that her fiancé didn’t join her he could see from his eyes how much he was in love with princess Isabella and for him to be apart from her must be difficult. He did overhear that he wanted to go with her but she told her grandfather she wanted to travel alone on this trip. Rafael decided to get out of bed since he was awake and decided to join the girls at the garden after he got dress. When he stepped out to the garden it was a beautiful site to see Sakura full of laughter smiling talking to his sister. He got to them and said “I hope that Isabella didn’t tell you all the embarrassing things that I’ve done in my life.” Sakura said “Some of it. We talked about our childhood mostly girl talk.” He winked at her “That isn’t surprising having the two of you together I think I’m in trouble now.” Isabella said “You’ll be if you are not nice to her.” He asked “Do you want lunch to be brought here.” Sakura said yes he went back to their room and called Yoshiro to bring their lunch. They continued their conversation during lunch had wonderful time altogether. Sakura gave her a tour of her palace and some of the landscape. She told Isabella it was disappointing to have such a short time with her. Isabella told her maybe next time her visit will be longer or if she could go visit her sometimes in Europe. It was times for Isabella to say her farewell she had to leave Japan and continued her royal duties. Before she left she had a talk with Rafael telling him that he was needed back home in the next couple month to take over his grandfather works. She mentioned to him about his health crisis that occurred during his absence his grandfather didn’t want him to worry and rushed back home because of that. Knowing the news from Isabella Sakura knew that Rafael will be leaving her soon. She didn’t expect any commitment from him but it’ll be nice to know from him what their statues relationship stands. She decided to take one day at the time with him until he’ll leave her. Rafael was a blessing to her in times of sorrows to have him with her meant so much to her. She was so much in love with him it’ll be so hard for her to let him go. After Isabella left Rafael was quiet it seemed that he was worried about his grandfather. Sakura said “If you’re worried about your grandfather you can go back home to see me I don’t mind.” He answered back “Not yet love but I’ll.” Then he kissed her. Finally the weeks of mourning for her family was over she started back slowly to her normal routines since she got back from Tokyo. She was enjoying her times with Rafael also he took back his royal duties from Isabella. He told Isabella that she needed to go back home to be along side of their grandfather and watched over him. And she did went back home she told Rafael she will call him when he’ll be need it.

Chapter 11

Rafael got the call from Isabella he needed to go back home. The news media already criticises him already about neglecting his royal duties by doing a disappearing act after his last dignitary duty it was at Sakura parent’s funeral. Rafael did keep himself out of the spotlight by being with Sakura. He had told Sakura today that he was leaving. He knew that Sakura was very aware that the time was coming for him to leave her. He was going to ask Sakura tonight if she would like to come with him. He was waiting for Sakura return from her charity work at the local school. Sakura was enjoying herself playing with the school children her work was completed with the school. From the news media and tabloids magazines she was aware about Rafael being criticises all over. She was thankful that they weren’t aware about him being with her. And they got a chance to have a normal private life at the moment unless words got out about their relationship. Together in each other arms in bed Rafael asked “Would you like to come with me?” She said “If I do I won’t have a normal life anymore I’ll be constantly on the news.” He gave her a kiss on the forehead and said “I know but are you willing to do it for me?” She replied “I’m not ready yet.” She wanted to a part of his life and his world she was willing to sacrifice her privacy just to be with him. But she didn’t hear the right words from him or just some simple words to tell her that he loved her. She wanted it to hear from him the words I love you. Or at least tell her that he was in love with her and she’ll drop everything in her life to be by his side. They had been together intimately passionately making love with each other for the three months. It’ll be hard for both of them to be apart from each other. Sakura said “So what is it mean for us now?” “Are we ending our relationship?” He replied “Do you want to end it?” She said “No, I love you Rafael.” Sakura was shock from her own words she told Rafael that she loved him. Rafael looked at her and said “Do you really love me?” With an astonish look on her face she said “Of course I do love you since the day your plane crash.” “Why you fought that I’ll sleep with you just for fun?” He immediately said “No, just forget what I just said I’m being stupid.” “I love you too my love.” From those words her heart was melting with joy and she said “Really you love me then show me.” By those words he kissed her passionately and started to make love to her.
They got up had breakfast Sakura knew that Rafael was leaving in the next few hours. During breakfast she said “I decided to travel with you half way I have ask to join with doctors without borders just temporary then I’ll come to be with you.” He asked “I would like to know why you are going back?” “It’s just the region that you’re going don’t make me feel at ease with your safety.” She said “I’ll be fine honey I was with them before.” “I want to do it just for the last time for my father memory when I’ll be with you I won’t be able do it.” Rafael wanted it to surprise her by proposing before he was leaving. By her words he was happy knowing she wanted to be with him made it easy to propose to her. After breakfast they walked through the family garden. Sakura saw Yoshiro at the small bridge. They walked to the twin cherry blossom tree then they stopped. She asked Yoshiro “There is something wrong Yoshiro that’s why you’re here?” He replied “No your highness there is a small package that had just arrived for Prince Rafael I just want it to let him know that it was here.” Rafael said “My love can you wait for me at the swing I’ll be back shortly.” He walked away with Yoshiro Sakura waited for him. Meanwhile with Yoshiro Rafael receive his little package from him. Yoshiro asked “Your highness may I ask why your package arrive now when you’re about to leave.” He replied “This precious package came from my country I made sure it’ll be here on time to be able to ask Princess Sakura to marry me.” He opened it to show to Yoshiro and said “This is my mother engagement ring.” “I would like you to be there to take some pictures when I’ll be asking her.” Yoshiro replied “I’ll be honour I’m sure Princess Sakura will say yes.” “She loved you for so long from afar across the oceans.” Rafael said “Thank you for everything Yoshiro.” Sakura saw Rafael walking back towards her and said “That was strange who had send you a package when you about to leave.” Sakura looked at him he didn’t answer her but he was smiling at her. He started to knee down she was intrigue by his actions then he took out from one of his pants pocket a beautiful shinny ring. Sakura was speechless. He said “Will you marry me?” He looked up at her saw tears falling down her cheeks. She was back to reality with all her emotions running through her mind and her heart was beating so far. She answered “Yes of course.” He put the ring her finger and kissed passionately. At those moments Yoshiro was taking beautiful pictures of the two of them. Rafael wiped out her tears after their kiss. He sat on the bench with Sakura on his laps and said “I couldn’t leave you without asking to marry me I love you.” She replied “I love you too, I always love you.” They kissed again then Yoshiro came and said “Sorry to interrupt your highnesses but the limo his waiting outside.” “I would like to wish your majesties all the best wishes.” They said “Thank you Yoshiro.” Sakura asked “Please take real good care of my home like you always do Yoshiro; I’ll be back here to do my wedding.” She looked at Rafael and said “You don’t mind we can do two wedding one in your country and one here.” Rafael said “No I’ll do anything for you it’ll be your big day I’ll never interfere.”

Chapter 12

She was admiring her beautiful ring on the way to the airport. There are two tapered baguette diamonds in this beautiful white gold setting. Each Side has a tapered baguette diamond in a channel setting. The center diamond was a beautiful pink diamond of two karats. The gorgeous shade of pink was the rarest of it kind for a pink diamond. It was one of the jewellery his mother requested for him to have. It had been his family for century he saw his grandmother wearing then his mother. Now his future wife it should bring him happiness and love that will last forever like it did for his family. She told Rafael that she won’t be able to wear her ring at the refugee’s camp site in Kenya. She told him to keep it for her until she’ll be back to him. He agreed with her it was a priceless heirloom. They stopped at the Spanish embassy to meet up with his staff that was going back home with him and of course his bodyguards will be around their entourage. Their flight together came to an end at the airport in Morocco from there Sakura was to meet up with the UNICEF groups to get a connecting flight to Kenya. He accompanied her to the airport terminal of her flight before he’ll continue his flight back home. Arriving there she recognized few of the workers before she joined them she said her good bye to Rafael. After their kiss Rafael said “Stay out of troubles and be safe my love.” She kissed him again and said “I’ll and you better behave yourself back home don’t forget I’m your fiancé don’t make me regret it that I’ve say yes.” He laughed then said “I love you always remember that and yes I’ll behave.” She said “Bye my love I see you soon.” They departed from each other. She joined her group that was waiting for at the ticket checking counter. It was a sad moments for the two of them to be apart from each other since they were inseparable since Rafael came to visit Sakura. They’ll keep in touch by e-mail. Flying in different directions they felt nostalgic.
Arriving to his country Rafael jumped right into his royal duties. Isabella was very busy as usual as always with her duties and her career. Rafael was staying away from the night life of partying and his playboy ways. He didn’t want to be plaster all over the tabloids and the news. He didn’t want Sakura to see all those magazines of him in it and it’ll cause the break up of their engagement. It had been two weeks they kept e-mailing each other and talked via web cam. Rafael was worried he didn’t hear from Sakura for the last four days he tried calling her and e-mailing her there wasn’t any responses from her. On the same day he was worrying about Sakura he got a phone call from Japan. It was Sakura butler calling him on his private cell phone number with a panic tune in his voice. He was speaking so quickly he couldn’t understand him. Rafael calmed him down on the phone by telling him to talk slowly and calmly. Yoshiro said “Princess Sakura had been taking hostage at the camp.” Rafael was upset by the news and asked Yoshiro to go through all the details of what he knew about the situations. Yoshiro told him that Sakura uncle was into talk with the United Nations and the military for the UN for a rescue mission. Yoshiro told him that after their talks he’ll give his phone number to Sakura uncle he wanted Rafael to be involve with her rescue mission since Rafael had the experiences and he knew if Rafael heard the news he won’t stay aside without doing anything to rescue his beloved Princess. Rafael thanked Yoshiro for letting him know of the situations told him that he’ll do everything to save princess Sakura. Few minutes later Rafael got the call from Sakura uncle he debriefed him of the hostage situations updates on the latest events at the camp. He told Rafael to go and meet the officer commander that will be doing the rescue mission by giving him a helping hand. He told her uncle that he’ll do it immediately after they were finish talking on the phone. Rafael reassured him that he’ll safe Sakura. After the phone call he arranged immediately his flight to Kenya he had called his closest friends in the military to come with him and the statues of the mission. He had asked Fernando to join him also he knew Isabella will be upset that he had asked him. Fernando was glad that to give Rafael helping hands to safe the woman he loved.

Chapter 13

Isabella was very worried for Rafael and Fernando it had been such a long times for them to do those lines of works. She knew that they were still in the top fitness shapes but military fitness and training shapes she was having doubts. She was worried about the welfare of the people in the camp and especially Sakura. She hoped that those rebels soldiers didn’t laid a hand on her. She didn’t want to things of the worst scenario that could happen. She went the military airfield to say her good bye Cristiano had a press conference with his soccer team couldn’t come with her and Eva wanted to come with her but Fernando told Eva not too. Isabella didn’t a chance to have a discussion with Fernando yet since she got back from Asia she was too busy with her duties and her career didn’t have times to see Fernando or her brother. Arriving at the airfield she went to look for Rafael and Fernando. The military guards showed her the ways to the meeting room. She walked in the room all eyes was on her Rafael told his crew to get all the equipments ready he’ll meet them shortly. In the room were just Rafael, Fernando and Isabella. Rafael said “I knew you’ll show up here.” Isabella said “You think that I will let the most two important person in my life to go on a rescue mission without saying good bye.” She came towards Rafael gave him a kiss and a hug to her brother then she did the same with Fernando and said “Please look out or each other don’t forget I love you both come back home safely.” Rafael said “Love you sis I’ll be home soon with Sakura.” “I let you have a talk with Fernando two minutes only.” He left the room. Isabella gave Fernando a deep kiss then said softly “Please come back to me in one piece.” He replied “I’ll, we have a lot to sort out with our relationship when I come back I love you.” She said “I love you too.” They both left the room Fernando went to join her brother and his crew then she watched the plane leave the airfield.
At the refugee camp all the women and children were staying in one of the hut in the camp, all the men were separated from them they were staying in center place in the camp all tied up and seating down on the hard dirt ground of the village. Sakura filthy from the children she didn’t really care nor had the times t look after herself and being sick since the day she got to the camp wasn’t her first priority of how her look was. It did help her situation to not be so stand out from the other aid workers and the doctors from the camp. The terrorists didn’t hurt any women or children as yet but few of the men got injured from the first day they took the camp hostage and they killed four of the refugees trying to run. It was the fifth day she heard the demands that they had requested from the UN. They had given the UN two more days to come up with money and the release of one of their man. Sakura was surprised that the terrorists allowed that kind of times for their demands. She was happy about it because she knew that a rescue team will come for them that was plenty of times for the team to set a plan up. She was worried that those terrorists might rape the women and especially the foreigners. She could tell some of the men were getting restless around some of the women. She was hoping that they could hold their urges but it was wishful thinking of hers early this morning few women got rape mostly the refugee’s women from the camp it seems that their leaders told his men to keep their hands off the foreigners. That was good in her case but she felt so awful for the women that got brutally rape by those monsters. She wished she could kill them and she will if she got a chance to get a gun hopefully someone came and saved them soon. The last few days she was thinking of Rafael she missed him terribly. She knew Rafael will be worry about her and wondered what was going with her since he didn’t hear from her for such a long time. By now he probably knew about the hostage situation and was coming to her rescue. She was hoping that he wasn’t coming to her rescue due to the danger but knowing him so well he’ll come.

Chapter 14

Sakura was still trying to figure out why she was so sick, she did got all her immunizations to come to the country from her last trip here it wasn’t a long time ago it didn’t require her to get another immunizations. With all the stresses she had been getting with her work and now with the hostage situation she’ll never get better but she realized now that her period menstruation didn’t came yet maybe it was due to stress also. Or she could be pregnant either ways she couldn’t worry about it now she had other things in her minds. She was almost rape by one of the terrorist men but his leader came on time to stop it from occurring but she got a lot of beating from the man. She felt violated from his actions she knew she was very lucky compare to the others women who got rapes. Soon or later she knew that those terrorists will rape her girl friends from her group if no one will come to their rescues. After the incident the terrorist leader took her away from the children and put her with her friends and co-workers. Her body ached so much she was getting sicker her head was spinning but she needed to be strong to be aware of her surrounding and to stay alive. She was praying that help will come soon. Since she got hostage she didn’t got any sleep she couldn’t fall asleep she was afraid to sleep knowing she wasn’t save. But her body was going to give up on her soon being exhausted, hurt, tired and sick she didn’t know if she could stay awake any longer. She was scared if her eyes closed she’ll never wake up again. Her friends reassured her by telling to get some sleep they’ll look out for her and protect her since she was among them now. With their help she got some sleep but wasn’t enough to get her strength back. It was night fall knowing that the terrorists let the UN government’s couple more days it meant there was enough times for a rescue mission on their side. If it’ll be a rescue it’ll be tonight and if Rafael was involved the rescue team will be here already. She told her group to look out for the rescue team that was coming to safe them.
Rafael and his men were ready into their positions around the camp so did also the commander of the UN with his men. They both got an understanding of the rescue plans they talked over twice to make sure they were in the length of communications and agreed to it. They got to the camp site in the early dawn they weren’t pleased to hear the women crying and screaming from being rapes. They couldn’t help at that point yet it was very frustrating and made them very upset that they couldn’t take actions. Rafael was worried about Sakura he was praying that none of those men had raped her. Now it was pitch dark the right time to take actions. They started to eliminate and kill some of the terrorists that were at the outside perimeter of the camp first then they moved in and infiltrated the camp side without being notice. Each of their men located the refugees and the aids foreigners from the UN and tried to kill the terrorist’s guards that surrounded them. The commander of the UN was in charge of killing the terrorist leader and the rest of the team was to rescue all the people. So far so good they had killed most of the terrorists they getting closer to the people. Rafael and his men went to the hut where all the women and children were. The commander and his men went to the center square to rescue the men before he got to take any actions and kill any of the terrorists there he needed a clear go ahead from Rafael that all the women and children were rescue and out of danger. Hopefully there won’t have any incidents to sound out the alarm to the others terrorists. Everything was going well Rafael team eliminated all the men that were guarding the women and children. Rafael and his men went and tried to get the women and children out before the terrorist realized something was going on. Sakura was with one of Rafael men and talking to the others to keep things as quiet as possible. The women and the UN workers tried to keep the children as calm and quiet as the best they could. They were moving out of the camp smoothly with no incidents. Sakura was looking for Rafael she saw five men among them. Sakura said “Thank you for coming to rescue us do you speak English? He nodded his head then she asked “May I ask your name soldier?” The soldier answered “My name is Fernando.” She noticed his accent from his words then said “Can you able to tell me is there a soldier with you name Rafael Palma among your team?” Fernando turned to her and looked at her strangely then said “Are you Sakura?” She replied “Yes.” Fernando said “Don’t worry we are here to safe you and yes Rafael is here; he’ll be joining us soon.” He gave her a little smile. Fernando finally met the woman that his best friend was in love with. But looking at Sakura Fernando was worried about how Rafael would re-act seeing Sakura conditions. He realized that Sakura had been beat up or even rape just looking at her. She was so relief that the nightmare she was in it was going to be finally over. While walking towards the woods she heard guns being fire she was worried and scared she asked Fernando “Where is Rafael why isn’t he here yet?” He replied “He is fine would you like to talk to him?” She nodded her head Fernando took out his Bluetooth and put it on her ear. Fernando noticed she was shaking just by his touch and said “Go ahead talk to Rafael he is on the other line he had been communicating with me.” Sakura said “Rafael please talk to me I need to hear your voice.” With a smile on her face she finally heard Rafael talking to her. She told him she was alright and she was safe with his men then asked him to join her and his team that she wouldn’t have to worry about him. She told him she loved him then handed back the Bluetooth to Fernando and said “Thank you Fernando.”

Chapter 15

From Fernando updates Rafael wasn’t too worry he got to talk to Sakura got some reassurance of her safety. Rafael decided to stay back with the commander officer and his men to help out he told him the go ahead since the women and children were on they ways out of the camp safely. They still needed to rescue the men. They started to fire at the terrorists they got to the men and started to clear the area out but more of them came due to the guns fires. There were guns fires and explosions made the camp burning into fire. Fernando and his men arrived to the airfield where the military aircrafts were waiting they told the women and children to go on it. Sakura was reluctant to go in without them and Rafael. She said to Fernando “Please I want to stay with you until Rafael is among us.” Fernando replied “Please get into the aircraft you’ve to go to safety if you stay Rafael will never forgive me knowing that I put you into danger by staying back.” “I need to go back and help with our men, don’t worry we’ll all return in on piece.” Sakura said “Please be safe all of you and thank you.” She didn’t insist or tried to argue about it she was very exhausted she didn’t have any strength within her anymore. The aircrafts were lifting up into the air Sakura looked down at the five men that had saved them. And saw the men walking back towards the camp that was on fire from the air she asked the pilot if there was another aircraft going back for them. The pilot reassured her as soon as there was a call from them an aircraft will go back to get them.
Rafael and the rest of the teams got out without anyone getting kill with the men from the camp. The commander officer were still behind with couple of his men to keep guard if any terrorist were after them he was worried that the leader will be catching up with them since they didn’t get chance to kill him. Rafael saw his men and Fernando coming back for him. Fernando asked “Did everyone got out can I call for the aircrafts to come to get us?” Rafael said “Yes, just few of the men got injured but they are all alive.” “We better keep moving before they’ll catch up to us.” They arrived to the area where the aircrafts were waiting they let all the men from the camp and the UN workers to get on first before they got in. Then they heard the sound of vehicles coming closer then shot got fire. They fired back with grenades then tried to get into their aircrafts. Rafael saw the commander officer got the terrorist leader in on shot from a distance he was impressed by his skills during the entire mission. They got into the aircrafts safely Rafael noticed that Fernando wasn’t with him immediately he was calling all his men from his Bluetooth maybe he was in the other aircraft everyone answer except Fernando. Rafael was worry he connected his Bluetooth line back to the commander and asked if Fernando was among the rest of his men. He answered back “Yes, he is on the other aircraft but he got injured from the grenade blast he is unconscious right now one of the UN doctors is attending to his care right now.” Rafael said “Thank you please take care of my friend.” Rafael was upset at himself for not being with Fernando when that had happened. He was praying that wasn’t serious injuries he couldn’t forgive himself if anything happen to his best friend. Isabella will never forgive him either she loved him so much. Arriving at the main base in Morocco as soon as the aircrafts landed he went to the other one to look for Fernando. He saw his friend on the stretcher ran right away to him then asked the doctor about his conditions. The doctor said “Your man will need an operation immediately to remove some debris in his legs and some on his left side of his face.” Rafael said “I’m coming with you he is my best friend I can’t let him be alone.” Rafael contacted his men also his friends from his Bluetooth and told them what was happening with Fernando. He got into the airbase ambulance heading to the medical building seating beside Fernando holding his hands with the two doctors next to them. One doctor said “Thank you for coming to rescue us we’ll take care of your friend.” The other doctor said “Thank you also your highness for coming to save us but I fought you were out of the military. I’m from Mallorca I know who is your friend also.” Rafael was quiet for a bit then said “I needed to come and be part of the rescue mission my fiancé was among the hostages she is one of the doctors working with you.” “My best friend wouldn’t let me go by myself and now he’s injure.” The two doctors told him that they had requested two more doctors to join them and that they were the best surgeons in their fields to help Fernando.
Sakura got the message from one of her doctor friend that they needed her help to operate on a soldier. She realized that they were back since one of the soldier needed surgery. She was waiting for someone to take her there. While waiting she was looking for some of the soldiers that had help her at the camp she saw four of the men in the rest area removing their military equipments. She said “I’m sorry to disturb you do you speak English?” One of the soldiers said “We do a little but we speak Spanish.” Then Sakura spoke in Spanish to them realizing that those men must be Rafael men by asking where were Fernando and Rafael. They told her that Fernando was injured and Rafael was with him. Then she knew that was Fernando needed her help unless there was more than one soldier injured. She asked they told her no other soldiers got injured only Fernando and some men from the camp. During their conversations someone came towards her and said “I’m very sorry to interrupt my name is Lucy I’m the head nurse at the air base but those UN workers told me that you’re princess Sakura and you’re a surgeon I supposed to bring you to help out on an operation.” Sakura said “Yes, I’m Sakura and I’m ready to go.” She turned to Rafael men and said to them in Spanish “Thank you I hope I’ll have a chance to meet the four of you again in a better circumstances.” Rafael friends said farewell to her realizing that was the woman that they came to rescue and that was Rafael fiancé. They were very impressed by Sakura and her courage with all she had gone through. The only things Sakura wanted to do it was getting some rests and sleep but she couldn’t knowing Fernando was injured and he was Rafael best friend according to Rafael men also his friends. The only thing she was worried it was her appearances when Rafael will see her like that he’ll be freaking out. The head nurse showed her to the change room and the shower room. While taking a quick shower Sakura asked “Lucy did they started the operation already.” Lucy replied “Yes, your highness.” Sakura said “Lucy you don’t have to call me your highness I’m a doctor.” Lucy said “Ok, doctor Sakura I’ve your doctor gown ready.” Sakura said “Thank you I’m done we better hurry I can always take a longer shower later.” Lucy replied “That was quick I’ll wait for you outside.” It took only two minutes to put her clothes on she came out right away Lucy walked her to the operation room. They both put their masked on walking in the room. The other doctors said “You’re here that was quick we had just removed the debris on one of his legs, we need your help with his face while we are taking care of the other leg.” Sakura looked at Fernando handsome face she’ll try her best to prevent scaring on his face. She looked up to ask Lucy for her medical instruments then saw Rafael worry face looking through the small window glass of the operation room. She started working on Fernando face gently and slowly. After removing the big pieces on his face she looked at the extra rays to see if there were any small pieces left that she had missed. She finally finished her work on his face. She was pleased it shouldn’t leave at deep scars on his face there will be light scars but it won’t be so noticeable unless it was close up. Then she went to help out her doctors friends with his other legs. She realized Fernando will need a lot of rehabilitations and loving support from his family and friends. She will be on of them to help him out because he came and risked his life to save her. Fernando was Rafael best friend and now had become her friend. She was exhausted by the day events her body and her legs were going to give up on her. She told herself not after the operation finally it was over they congratulated on their works and said thank you to each others told the nurse to take Fernando to his room. Rafael stopped the nurse asked her where she was taking Fernando. She told him to his room number and what floor he’ll be. She told him to wait for the doctors they’ll give him an updates on his conditions.

Chapter 16

They walked out of the operation room then one of the doctor said “We should go to tell his friend that he’ll be fine.” They walked towards Rafael then suddenly Sakura fainted on the floor her friend surrounded her and checked on her pulse. Rafael came right away towards them and asked “I saw one of the doctor collapses let me help you to carry the doctor to one of the hospital bed stretchers.” He came closer it was Sakura. He was surprised, shocked by her black eye and bruises on her face then asked “Is she alright?” One of the doctor said “Yes, she just fainted she had been in a big ordeal poor girl.” “She’s a wonderful young woman with strong personality she came with other women from the camp to give us foods.” The other doctor said “One of the terrorist tried to rape her but she fought back that the reason of her bruises on her body.” The third doctor said “Thanks goodness that he didn’t or we’ll kill that terrorist ourselves.” “The poor girl hadn’t slept for days since they took the camp hostage.” They nodded their heads. Rafael carried Sakura into his arms then walked towards one of the hospital bed stretchers. He asked “Can one of you examine her if she needs any medical attentions?” Rafael was looking at Sakura tenderly caressed softly her cheek took out her medical mask and hat then pulled away her hair from her face. He gave her a kiss on the top of her forehead then softly on her lips. The three doctors were surprised by his actions concerning Sakura. Then one of the doctors remembered their early talks and said “She’s the fiancée that you’ve mentioned.” Rafael said “Yes, I’ve the two most important people in my life in the hospital and they both need me.” The doctor said “We’ll put her in the same room as your friend.” Rafael said “Thank you.” The two men doctors said their farewell to Rafael told him that they’ll come by later to check on Sakura and Fernando. One doctor stayed her name was Dr Walsh she said “Don’t worry your highness I had known princess Sakura for a long times she’s a fighter, she’s just exhausted.” Rafael said “Are you sure she wasn’t rape?” Dr Walsh replied “No, I witnessed what had happen to her I’ll examine her because she had been sick for a while since she arrived at the camp.” Rafael said “I remembered the last times I had talked to her she told me it might be stomach flu.” They both headed to the hospital room. Rafael was pushing the stretcher bed, they entered the room he saw Fernando still asleep he settled Sakura in the room put her next to Fernando. Dr Walsh pulled the room curtain between the two patients and said “I’m going to examine her.” Rafael replied “I need to make a call I’ll be back.”
Rafael called Sakura uncle first told him that the mission was successful and gave him an update on Sakura. He told him that he’ll take her to his country her uncle argued with him then finally gave up and agreed with him. Her uncle told him he’ll call Sakura later. After finishing talking to Sakura uncle he called Isabella. He told her the conditions of Fernando he calmed her down Isabella was clearly upset from the tone of her voice. Isabella told him she’ll be flying right now to see them. Rafael didn’t argue or stopped her for coming. Isabella cancelled her royal functions she told her secretary to put a hold on her schedules until further noticed from her. She didn’t tell her the reasons of why she was cancelling her schedules. During the times Rafael and Fernando were on their rescue mission she had broke off her engagement with Cristiano. His ex-fiancé announced to the press that her baby was Cristiano. She was pregnant during the times Sakura was dating Cristiano. Isabella believed him when he had told her that he had broken off his engagement with his fiancé before they started dating. Cristiano told her he wouldn’t give up on their relationships he asked her for a second chance then he said he’ll fight for it. She felt a little hypocrite concerning Cristiano situations with his ex-fiancé especially with her current relationship with Fernando while she was engaged with him. But it was her excuse to break off her engagement she was reluctant in the beginning she could have given Cristiano another chance she was also in love with him. Fernando did ask her to choose between the two of them and everything happened for a reason. Isabella decided to pick Fernando. Now it had become the perfect timing especially that Fernando was injured he needed her. She flew on the royal plane she took only Oliver Quinn with her. On the flight Isabella gave Oliver Quinn all the currents status on why they were living the country. She told him to make sure that on their ways back there wasn’t any news media and everything had to be confidential with tight security. Oliver Quinn understood what was requiring of him. Being Princess Isabella head of security he admired her for her charities works, her royal duties, and her career as a singer. He was getting to know her personalities he didn’t see any flaws with Isabella maybe the exception of her love life. Obviously to him Isabella was in love with Fernando but due to circumstance they couldn’t be together. They arrived to the base Isabella went right away to meet with Rafael friends they told her that where he was. Oliver stayed with Rafael friends. She met with Lucy that showed her to the room.

Chapter 17

As soon as she opened the door Rafael came to hug and kiss her. Then she saw Fernando face and his legs with the bandages. She said “Give me the update on his conditions and how is Sakura?” Rafael said “Dr Walsh took her for some tests she’ll be back shortly she still asleep. Fernando operation went fine he’ll need our love and supports. He’ll need to do so rehab with his legs later on his face will have some light scars according to the doctors only noticeable up-close.” They both sat next to Fernando Isabella hold his hands then gave him a kiss. Rafael asked “Did you call Eva and let her know about Fernando.” Isabella said “No, the last times I talked to her was the day the two of you when to rescue Sakura. She told me she signed the divorce papers it was finalising two days ago.” Rafael said “I think its better that way we’ll look after Fernando ourselves he had been a part of our life, our family.” He said “You love him break up your engagement with Cristiano he needs you more than ever now.” She replied “I already did break up my engagement I’ll tell you more about it later.” “Right now we need to care of the people we love, Fernando is opening his eyes.” Rafael said “I let you talk to him.” The nurse opened the door pushed Sakura stretcher bed into the room put her back the next side of Fernando. Rafael thanked her. Dr Walsh walked into the room asked to talk to Rafael. Dr Walsh said “She’ll be fine all the tests were goods, she’ll need a lot of rests and sleep but she needs her nutrition make sure that she’s eating especially that she’s pregnant she’ll need to feed the baby.” He asked the doctor “How far along she’s pregnant?” Dr Walsh replied “About six weeks that was why she was sick the entire times she got to the camp.” “She was lucky that she didn’t loose the baby.” “Do take care of princess Sakura.” He replied “I’ll thank you Dr Walsh.” They said their farewell. Rafael went to seat beside Sakura waiting for her to wake up.
Isabella said to Fernando when he opened his eyes “Hi, my love.” She gave him a kiss again. Fernando said “I guess I didn’t see that grenade flying towards me.” Isabella put her hands on his mouth and said “That wasn’t funny did I told you that I love you.” “I’ll take care of you we’re going home as soon as Sakura wake up.” Fernando said “Tell me that you love me again.” Isabella said “I love you now you don’t need to return to the military, I need you in my life for always.” He said “I love you too.” Isabella kissed him then put her head on his chest hugged him with one of her arm. She said softly “Just rest mi amor te quiero.” Fernando kissed her on the top if her head.
Rafael couldn’t believe the news of Sakura being pregnant he had mix emotions. He did wanted children when he got married. And he was going to marry Sakura after all but he didn’t except so soon to be a father. He loved Sakura without any questions he was just afraid that she wouldn’t be able to adjust herself into his life. He didn’t want to rush her into marriage either until she was ready. She did tell him she wouldn’t mind a long engagement until she was ready to settle down and live with him in his country. She wanted to try it out after her assignment with UNICEF was done at the camp. Sakura opened her eyes she saw Rafael watching her she said “Hi, mi amor.” He replied “Don’t ever scare me like that again mi amor.” She replied “Never again I missed you so much.” He kissed her and said “I missed you too.” She said “I must look awful with all those bruises.” Her stomach was making grumbling making noises. Rafael said “You must be hungry let’s me call for some foods.” She asked “Is there a patient next to me that’s why the curtain there?” Rafael said “That’s because Dr Walsh was examining you and Fernando is there.” She asked “How is he doing?” He replied “Better Isabella is with him he is conscious now.” He removed the curtain between them his sister turned her head. Isabella said “Hello, Sakura.” Sakura said “Hello is Fernando awake?” She replied “Yes.” Fernando said “Hi, princess Sakura.” Sakura got up slowly from her bed and try to get out from it. Rafael said softly “You shouldn’t yet.” She replied “I need to see Fernando please.” He helped her by holding her arms they were just couple feet from each other. Sakura said “You look like a mummy right now but don’t worry those bandages will be gone as soon as those wounds are heals.” “I was one of the doctors operating on you.” “So I’ll be your doctor and your nurse I’ll take care of you.” “Well as soon as I regain my strengths first.” Rafael said “Mi amor you need to take care of yourself first.” She replied “I’m just exhausted by the ordeal it isn’t that I can’t do my job as a doctor and Fernando needs us right now.” “Isn’t that I’m going to do it alone looking after him.” Isabella said “She’s right she has me I can help her and with have our staffs in the palace that we trust.” Fernando said “You guys shouldn’t go all that troubles I’m sure we can hire someone.” All three of them said “No.” Sakura said “You’re Rafael best friend and you saved my life and the rest of the people you’ve my gratitude and my thanks.” “You’re family don’t forget.” Isabella and Rafael said “She’s right you’re family we love you.” Fernando replied “Thank you.” The nurse came into the room with their meals. The four of them spend times having a beautiful conversations Sakura got to know Fernando and found out Isabella was in love with him and she had broke off her engagement. They congratulated her engagement with Rafael. Isabella asked Sakura “Can we bring Fernando home today?” Sakura replied “I think so we’ll change his bandages before we go.” Isabella went to talk to Oliver to schedule and prepare their home arrival. She wanted to be late during the night there won’t be any much staffs in the airport and will make easier on security to control the area without having anyone there when they’ll land at the airfield.

Chapter 18

On the flight to Rafael country Sakura realized how his closest friends sacrificed and risked their life to safe her they didn’t have to come the UN had send their people to do the job. Rafael requested for their help they accepted knowing of the danger. She was very thankful for their actions. Seating beside Rafael and in his arms with her eyes closes she could hear their conversations they were talking about their family, friends and telling jokes between them. She was still too tired to talk or even have her eyes open. She’ll make up to them by inviting them for dinner as soon as she’ll feel better. In her mind she was debating if she should tell Rafael that she was pregnant and wondered if her friend Dr Walsh told him especially when she had examined her and did some tests her friend knew that she was pregnant. When she’ll get the chance Sakura needed to call her. Isabella was at Fernando side looking after him. Sakura wondered if she was ready for Rafael world she told herself that she was or will be because she loved him she wanted to try at least. She made up for the nutrition she was missing her appetite was back. She needed to be healthy for her baby. Her child was the important thing in her life right now. Rafael wondered how long Sakura will keep the information of herself being pregnant from him. He didn’t want to mention to her that he knew he wanted her to do it herself on her own free will. He knew she won’t be able to hide it for long her stomach will be showing in a matter of times. Right now he’ll let her recuperate and heal from her ordeal and letting her to adjust to her new environment of a new country.
They arrived very late the night as Oliver scheduled the plane landed then parked in the air hanger there were two black tinted limousines waiting. Noticing Sakura conditions were still fragile her doctor friends told Rafael not letting her to be on her feet not much for a while so she had to be in a wheel chair temporary to get to place. She insisted that she was fine she didn’t need it told them that she had regained her strengths but they wouldn’t hear it from her so she didn’t argue anymore. Fernando was also in a wheel chair since he won’t be able to walk until his legs healed and he’ll go to rehabilitation. Sakura thanked Rafael friends again before they parted ways then went into their limos. Everyone was tired from the flight. The royal staffs were all asleep only the royal guards and their personal butlers were there to greet them. They went straight to their bedrooms suites. Isabella trusted her butler Lopez to prepare all the necessities arrangements for Fernando room that was next to her. After Lopez left Fernando room she came to see him through a secret door that was join between their two rooms. Isabella said “I just couldn’t stay in my room knowing that you need me plus I can’t sleep.” Fernando said “Just come and kiss me goodnight then.” She came and kissed him tenderly passionately then she put pillows on the side where his legs made it like a small wall. She went in his bed and slept beside him and said “Those pillows will help me not to hurt you while I’m sleeping next to you.” Fernando said “Te quiero mi amor.” She replied “Te quiero.”
Sakura will stay in Rafael room with him since she was his fiancée. Sakura requested Rafael to have her maid and her butler Yoshiro to be here staying with her also. But tonight she didn’t need them Rafael was there to help her she was afraid to let him see her bruises on her body knowing that he was already shock and angry for the ones on her faces. She didn’t how he’ll re-act seeing more on her she wished she could hide it but she couldn’t. Rafael asked her “What’s wrong? Do you need my help to change your clothes?” He had a little smile on face by saying “Don’t tell me that you’re shy being naked affront off me” Rafael came closer then help to unzip her dress from the back. She replied “No, it’s just….” Her dress dropped down she was shaking a little. Rafael noticed right away her bruises and felt her trembling he was furious about her conditions and was in disbelieve that she had survived fighting back without being rape and that she didn’t lost the baby. She must have put a good fight against her attacker. There was a silent moment for a while Rafael turned her to face him hugged her tenderly then said softly “I’m so sorry mi amor I’m here for you now I’ll protect you I love you.” He kissed her softly then passionately he carried her into the bed. He joined her two of them went to sleep in each other arms.
The next day Rafael went to Fernando houses where he met up with some of the royal movers. Eva was little upset not seeing Fernando himself there but she wasn’t surprise by his actions. When Rafael arrived he made sure every belonging of Fernando was out of the house. Eva saw Rafael outside with the movers she wondered why he was here instead of Fernando she went to meet him. She asked “Hello, Rafael!” He replied “Hello, Eva.” She asked “He hate me that much now that he doesn’t want to see me he sent you instead.” He said “Maybe a little but no Eva he doesn’t hate you. He couldn’t come himself.” She asked “Did he tell you where he is living?” He said “We just arrived yesterday from our mission he had moved in with us yesterday.” “He got injured don’t worry about him we’re taking good care of him.” Eva asked “How bad?” He said “He’ll be in a wheel chair until he gets his strengths in his legs from his injuries and one side of his face has some wounds it’ll heal with times he’ll have some scars to show off later.” She asked “Can I come to visit him?” He said “You can call him and ask.” “His son has been asking for him.” He replied “You mean his uncle son, did he meet his real dad?” Eva replied “Yes while Fernando was away but he still consider Fernando his dad for now he is still confuse.” He said “No kidding anyway I have to go.” After he left she called Fernando on his cell no answer went to his voice mail. She decided to go see him the royal staffs knew who she was. Arriving at the palace Eva asked if she’ll be able to see Fernando. Isabella butler Lopez was looking after him when Isabella was at work. He said to Eva “I’ll let Mr Nadal know that you’re here.” Lopez said “Follow me I’ll bring to the recovery room.” The recovery room was like a rehabilitation center it has all the equipments that it requires without going to a hospital. At the recovery room Sakura was with Fernando helping on his exercises with his legs. After they finished she decided to check on his wounds to see if they had healed so she can removed his bandages. She said to him “Well it seems that the ointment is working very well on your wounds it had dry it up fast I’ll be removing your stitches today.” Fernando said “That’s great I can finally take a shower instead of a sponge bath.” Sakura gave him a smile and said “I’m sure Isabella will miss that.” They were both laughing. Sakura said “I’ll tell Yoshiro to prepare more of the ointment it made from multiple herbs and it takes a while to create it.” Fernando asked “Don’t they sell it in any stores in your country.” She said “No, it’s a royal medicine created by a royal doctor from the sixteen century that had passed through generation to our family.” “And the secret ingredients had been given to us then had been taught to our loyal and trusted butler that’s Yoshiro now.” Fernando asked “Beside that ointment do you have others herbal remedies?” Sakura said “Yes of course but that it’s our family secret.”

Chapter 19

Sakura said “I’ll start removing the bandages now first then the stitches later on after you’ll take a shower.” She started with the bandages on his legs while doing that he was telling funny stories of Rafael from their childhood to make Sakura laughing. Fernando wanted Sakura to relax around him he was aware that she was conscious about her appearances affront of him. He knew the ordeals she had been through from Rafael and her conditions and about her pregnancy. He didn’t want to stress her out either knowing that she felt responsible of what had happen to him. He asked “I hope that you’re not exhausting yourself over me maybe you should relax for a bit you look tired.” Sakura said with a smile “Don’t be ridiculous I’m not tired don’t worry I know my limits now don’t start to be like Rafael.” Sakura finished with his legs now started to remove the bandages on his face after she finished she gave Fernando and kisses on his other side of cheek then said “Thank you.” Then Eva walked into the room she said “I’m sorry to disturb you I thought you were alone.” Sakura turned to face her Fernando said “Eva, I forgot Lopez told me you were on your way.” Sakura said “I’ll be back after you talk to your guess.” Then she left from the other door that took her to the palace private quarters. When Sakura left Eva asked “Who is she? And what had happen to her? Fernando replied “She’s my closest friend and my doctor and who she is that doesn’t concern you.” “Why are you here Eva?” She replied “I heard about you I wanted to see you and see how you were doing or if you need it anything.” He said “Thanks for your concern but I’m doing fine I’m having the best medical care and the supports of my best friends.” Eva said “Our divorce is finalize I hope that we can remain friends.” He replied “We do know each other for a long times and we were friends from then we’ll keep it that way.” “But we’ll stay out from each other private life.” She said “Alessandro has been asking for you, he did meet his father while you were away.” He replied “He can call me any times but I don’t want him to visit me yet not until I look better and back on my feet I don’t want to scare him.” “I’ll tell him that I’m still away when I call him.” “How is Alessandro dealing with the whole situation knowing that I’m not his father?” She said “Little confuses but it went well he’s very young he’ll adapt easily.” “Rafael told me that you’ll be living with them.” He replied “Yes.” Sakura came back with Fernando medicines when she walked into the room she saw Eva was still there. She said “Sorry for interrupting its times for your medicines then I’ll leave.” Fernando said “That’s alright you can stay Eva is leaving.” Eva got his message she said her good byes to Fernando. She still wondered who the woman was and why she was in that condition. On her ways out Eva asked Lopez who was the woman with Fernando. Lopez told her that she was his doctor and she got injured from an accident but it didn’t really answer to her questions. Maybe Rafael or Isabella can tell her more about the doctor looking after Fernando. She didn’t have their personal cells numbers she had to go through the royal phone lines. When she tried to call them they were always in a meeting or with political members. Eva was aware of their schedules during the times she was married to Fernando it was hard to reach them every times Fernando called he had to push in a password but even wasn’t aware that he did have also their privates cells numbers. Eva realized soon or later she’ll know about the doctor it was a matter of times she’ll get a chance to ask when she’ll run into either Rafael or Isabella. It had been three weeks now since Eva didn’t see Fernando she had small talk with him on the phone when he called for Alessandro. She saw Rafael and Isabella always on the news or magazines but not in person the last times she talked to Rafael was when he came to her house to get Fernando belongings. When she saw Isabella in person was during the week Fernando and Rafael went away for the mission in Africa. Then suddenly she saw a magazine on the news stand it was a picture of Fernando doctor with Rafael in an intimate kissing embrace. The headline said “Who is the mystery woman with Prince Rafael?” “Is she the one for Prince Rafael?
It was Sakura first day out of the palace with Rafael. Her bruises had gone away she asked Rafael to take her out site scene around his island country and she wanted to see Spain historical monuments. Rafael told her they will do some today and more during the weeks. They did notice that some photographers they ignored it they wanted it to enjoy their day out. Sakura called Dr Walsh to say hello then she found out that Rafael knew about her pregnancy but decided not to mention it maybe he wanted her to tell him. She decided that she’ll tell him today and her stomach was beginning to show a tiny bit. During her stays she felt welcome from all the royal employees she got to know them quickly due to their willing openness to talk to her. Like her own royal employees from her country they were very faithful trustworthy hard working staffs. She missed her home she wasn’t quite settle in with Rafael yet now that she was better she’ll be out and about with Rafael at all times especially in some of his functions then she’ll know herself if she’ll be able to handle his life style especially the news media and the paparazzi that’ll be surround him everywhere. Two weeks later at a news conference talking about the latest political involvement of his country with NATO one reporter asked about Sakura. The reporter knew who was princess Sakura asked if she’ll be involved and will attending those meetings also then asked if his relationship with her was serious. He told the reporter yes princess Sakura will be attending on behalf of her uncle. He said yes that their relationship was serious then he announced his engagement to princess Sakura. He told the reporters in the room there will be no more questions about his private life.
At the palace Fernando was back on his feet walking with the help of a cane. Isabella and Fernando were thankful for the experience skills of Sakura as a doctor to help him be back on his feet so soon. Fernando and Isabella decided not to go public with their relationship especially outside of the palace walls. Since Isabella brake off her engagement with Cristiano not too long ago and Fernando divorced with Eva they didn’t want any further media attentions due to their stars status. Fernando announced to the press his retirement from tennis due to his injuries from a car accident when he was away on vacations. With his conditions he was in it did help to create a story and a cover up for the press of his absence from tennis starting seasons and of his retirement from it. The press didn’t make anything of it knowing that he was living at the palace since they knew his childhood history with the royal family. Isabella didn’t want him to get back into the military so he decided to be a tennis coach and built few tennis schools and foundations to help the low income family in his country. Isabella found out she was pregnant from Fernando she was worried due the timing the press probably jumped to conclusion that her pregnancy was from Cristiano instead. She didn’t want to announce to the public or press of her private life especially her relationship with Fernando. She had to tell him about her pregnancy tonight.

Chapter 20

After the announcement of her engagement Sakura couldn’t have any peace from the news media or paparazzi everywhere she attended any royal functions with Rafael or her own personal activities they were there. It wasn’t the same anymore she knew the times had come for her to adapt to Rafael life. She told herself can she do it? With her pregnancy starting to show very soon she didn’t want to be surrounded by all that craziness. Before dinner she’ll discuss with Rafael about the baby. Sakura asked Yoshiro to tell Rafael to come to see her at their bedroom suite. Yoshiro knew about princess Sakura pregnancy she had told him and her maid because she asked him to call her staffs back home to start preparing the nursery room with the design that they’ll receive shortly by e-mail. Then told him that they were going home soon and she wanted to have the baby in Japan instead. Yoshiro knocked at the door of Rafael office. Rafael said “Come in.” Yoshiro walked in and said “I’m sorry for interrupting your works but have a message from Princess Sakura.” Rafael said “Princess Sakura could just have called me you didn’t have to come and tell me in person unless something had happen.” Yoshiro said “No your highness Princess Sakura is fine. The matter is important for you to see Princess Sakura.” “Her highness is waiting for you in your bedroom suite.” Rafael left his office right away and went to see Sakura. He walked into the room he noticed her luggage in one side of the room. Sakura was sitting on the sofa in the sitting room she said “Hi my love we need to talk and I have to tell you something.” He went to sit down beside her and said “What’s the matter mi amor?” She said “I’ve talk to Dr Walsh and to your sister. “I know that you know I’m pregnant.”” He said “Yes.” Sakura put a finger on his lips and said “Let me talk first.” “I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you since the beginning I’ve enjoy my times with you here but I want to go home now.” He said “You can’t just say that and I’ll accept it.” “I thought that you wanted to live with me here you had said you’ll try.” “I love you don’t go don’t leave me mi amor.” “We’re engaged you’re going to be my wife.” Sakura said “Yes I’m your fiancé, I’m going to be your wife also but I need to go home.” “I have try but it’s harder than I thought to be living here I need my peaceful tranquility of my home to have our child.” Rafael said “But you’ll come back after our baby is born won’t you?” She said “I don’t know.” He said “You just told that you’re my fiancé and that you’re going to be my wife how that’s going to happen when you’re miles away from me.” “Don’t you love me?” She replied “You well know that I love you.” “Please I want to go home when your schedule is open you can always come to see us.” He said “You’ve make up your mind since your things are already packed.” Sakura replied “Yes, we’ll work things out when the baby is born.” “We should go for dinner the family is waiting for us.” He replied “We can cancel dinner with them and have it here.” She answered “No, I’ll need to tell them and say my farewell to them.” She came to hold his hands then kissed him tenderly and said after “I’ll always love you mi amor.” They headed out from their room to meet Fernando and Isabella in the library before dinner time.
In the library Isabella was with Fernando waiting on Rafael and Sakura to meet them there before going to dinner to join their grandfather. Fernando asked Isabella “You can’t tell me first what is so important.” She replied “No, there is a reason why you’ll soon know.” Rafael and Sakura arrived. They all sat down on the chairs. Isabella said “My news is I’m pregnant I just found out today.” Rafael and Fernando was happy came to kiss her then hug her. Fernando said “I’m so happy but the timing is still bad with everything going on with our private life and the news media focus on us.” Isabella said “Fernando is right that’s why I would like to discuss about it with the three of you.” “It’s going to create a confusion surrounding my pregnancy especially when I recently broke up with Cristiano he’s going to think that is his child.” Rafael said “You’re sure that’s Fernando.” Isabella replied “Of course that’s Fernando I know when I got pregnant that’s before you two went to Africa.” Fernando said “I don’t doubt it that’s mine but you were still engaged to him I didn’t forget our last conversation you made it clear that times you’ll stay engage to Cristiano until the mess in my life was settle and my divorce was finalized.” Isabella said “I knew what I had said but I broke up with him.” Sakura said “So why you say Cristiano will think that’s his child never mind I get the picture.” Isabella said “I always wanted to have someday Fernando child so I don’t really care if I got pregnant from him I didn’t use any protections or take any birth control pills.” “Didn’t matter if he was still with Eva I wanted the most precious thing from the man I love.” “It was selfish of me.” Isabella gave Fernando a quick kiss and said “I hope you are not upset please forgive me.” He replied “I’ll be upset if we weren’t together in that situation but it’s not the case.” Rafael said “But you can’t hide your pregnancy you’re in the public eyes.” “As soon as it’s public knowledge it’s going to be all over the news and Cristiano will be back running into your life sister.” Isabella said “I’ll have to tell him when that time will come.” Sakura said “Well since we’re talking about pregnancy Isabella knows that I’m pregnant I’m sure she told you Fernando.” “I’ve told your brother about the baby but I’m leaving tomorrow to my country to have the baby.” Isabella said “But you’ve at least six months to go why so soon.” Sakura said “I’m different from the three of you I’m not use to the news media or paparazzi around me at all times as soon as I step out of the palace.” “At least at my home it’s very secluded from all that I’ve my privacy and it’s peaceful.” Isabella said “Rafael you know she’s right I’ll join her also when my stomach will start showing.” “I hope you don’t mind Fernando.” He replied “No as long as you‘ll be stress free the better for you and the baby health.” Rafael said “It’s going to be hard to break the news to our grandfather about the two of you leaving and the pregnancy.” Isabella said “You’re right grandpapa always wanted to get marry and have a grand wedding it isn’t going to please him.” Sakura said “We’ll tell him that we’ll have a wedding after our babies.” Rafael said “Well we should go to dinner don’t want to make our grandpapa waiting.”
